The stator includes teeth projecting toward the rotor. The insulator is attached to each of the teeth. The coil is wound around the insulator. The insulator includes a pair of side surface portions that are mounted on the teeth to generate a biasing force against the teeth in a twisting direction with respect to a direction of the first axis.

The bobbin is formed in a cylindrical shape, has flange parts extending a predetermined amount in the outer circumferential direction at the top and bottom of the cylindrical shape, is provided with notch sections on the tip part in the inner circumferential direction of the flange part of the bobbin, and forms an acute angle. In addition, approximately circular notch sections are formed on adjacent side surface portions of the bobbin in the outer circumferential direction of the bobbin.

Electrically non-conductive and non-magnetic inserts are positioned in the gaps formed between the salient rotor poles, with each of the inserts including a mating feature formed an axially inner edge thereof that is configured to mate with a respective opening being defined by the rotor core, so as to secure the insert to the rotor core against centrifugal force experienced during rotation of the rotor assembly.

    Abstract: The manufacturing effort for producing electrical machines with pole teeth which are fitted with permanent magnets is intended to be simplified. The permanent magnets are inserted into the pole teeth only at the end of the manufacturing process, for this purpose, with the pole teeth each comprising two pole teeth halves (1, 2). An insertion device (3) which may be in the form of a frame is arranged between the pole teeth halves (1, 2). The insertion device (3) is used to keep a space free for the individual permanent magnets during the assembly process. By way of example, this allows the pole teeth to be wound without permanent magnets interfering with this manufacturing step. Permanent magnets are finally inserted into the insertion devices.
