Abstract: A novel loose-leaf holder is provided for binding documents such as a multi-leaf computer printout and mounting the same in a suspension-filing and/or storing system. The holder comprises a plastic body which is molded as an integral unit and comprises two side sections which are connected together by a hinge section so that they can be swung toward and away from one another, and document mounting posts carried by one side section and engageable by the other side section. Manually releasable locking means are provided for locking the two side sections together so as to captivate documents which are mounted on the binding posts.

Abstract: This invention relates in general to card filing devices and more particularly to a card file case comprising a one piece receptacle for the cards to be filed with angled projections at the front and back of the receptacle which are an integral part thereof for retaining the cards in an angular position from the verticle.

Abstract: A molded plastic card file drawer having a bottom wall, two side walls, a back wall, and a front wall. A rib extends along the upper edge of each side wall, the ribs projecting toward each other and being spaced apart a distance equal to the length of the cards with which the drawer is to be used. A support for cards within the drawer has end pieces each slidably arranged between one of the ribs and the drawer bottom wall. A space is provided between the front end of each rib and the drawer front wall to permit the support end pieces to pass through as the support is being inserted into the drawer. The front wall and support have aligned holes for accommodating a bar which passes through similar holes in the cards. The support may be locked in different selected positions along the length of the drawer.

Abstract: A component card assembly includes a grooved guide adapted to interengage a component card edge between the card receiving and base ends of a support frame. The guide is fixedly attached to the frame base end and comprises an elastically elongatable section. A lever pivotally mounted on the card engages the guide at the frame card receiving end. The pivoting of the lever into a locked position on the frame elastically elongates the guide whereby the component card is controllably restrained in a home position on the frame.

Abstract: File folders and filing cabinet drawer dividers (as will be referred to hereinafter as "separators") made of relatively thin and inexpensive paper stock which are vertically reinforced by an improved stiffening means which also furnishes (or reinforces) the conventional type upstanding file contents identification device, and which include folded-over upper end portions which further reinforce the identification "tab" against bending/wear stresses. The folded-over portion is also so formed as to provide a rearwardly extending abutment which acts to space apart like separators when adjacently disposed in a filing drawer or the like. Thus, the separators are with improved facility individually identifiable and grasped by the user for withdrawal purposes; as well as being relatively inexpensive to maufacture while being of improved stiffness in requisite respects.

Abstract: A tray for a manual document handling system for use in processing and handling documents in offices and the like and for use on specially designed support panels. The trays are of a special shape for easy insertion, storing and retrieving of documents in an orderly fashion and include an inclined side wall against which the documents lay. An insert sheet member is provided to be mounted against the side wall for increasing the surface area against which papers lay when inserted into the tray. An unique locking mechanism is provided for securing the insert sheet member in place.

Abstract: An open top rectangular box sheet dispensing device fitted with spring follower for housing individual and separate memorandum sheets which are stacked within the device and are confined at the top sheet and at the rear wall surface by retaining elements located at the top and rear corners of the box housing to overlap the top of the stacked sheets. The sheets are each formed with recessed portions at each side of the sheet adjacent the back edge which fits under the retaining elements of open box dispenser and the box dispenser is provided with vertical guiding elements which fit into these recesses to maintain the sides of the sheets within proper alignment, thereby adapting easy filling of the dispenser while permitting writing over the entire sheet.

Abstract: One or more pages of a publication are provided with a pre-printed perforated area which may be removed from the remainder of the page or with a pre-printed form which may be peeled from the page. The perforated areas provide individual cards when removed from the page, while the peelable forms are placed on a backing when they are separated from the page. The cards and backings are provided with shaped cut-outs at one edge for placement in a suitable storage container.
