Horizontally Movable (e.g., Drawer) Patents (Class 312/330.1)
  • Patent number: 6254047
Abstract: A roller slide apparatus for mounting heavy equipment on support structures and which allows safe repositioning of the equipment for servicing and repair includes a lower plate assembly connected to a support structure, an upper mounting plate connected to the equipment, and a bearing assembly connected to both the lower mounting plate assembly and the upper mounting plate for facilitating movement of the upper mounting plate from a first operative position where the upper mounting plate is substantially superimposed over the lower mounting plate assembly to a second operative position where the upper mounting plate is moved away from the lower mounting plate assembly. Locking devices for maintaining the upper mounting plate in either the first or second operative positions, includes flanges formed on the mounting plates and extensions that slide into holes formed in flange or plate elements.

  • Patent number: 6224176
Abstract: A kitchen cabinet has a cabinet frame having a storage space portion that is accessible via a front door or the like and, above the storage space portion, a mounting portion for a sink, a cooking table surface, a gas stove or the like and, below the storage space portion, a drawer space that is open forward. A drawer is slidably fitted into the drawer space of the cabinet frame. Each of two side plate portions of the cabinet frame has, at its front lower end, a cutout that is receded from the upper front edge of the side plate, which defines a standard front surface of the kitchen cabinet. The drawer has a stepped front plate that is formed by connecting a lower front plate portion whose height is less than the height of the cutouts, to an upper front plate portion positioned forward of the lower front plate portion, by a connecting member. A lower edge portion of the upper front plate portion is formed as a hand hold portion.

  • Patent number: 6209978
Abstract: A waste organizing cabinet for recyclable materials. The upper working surface of the cabinet can be used to cut or otherwise treat food products. Below this upper surface is a first holding frame for a pull-out sliding drawer that rests on cabinet rails. Side meshed baskets placed within the holding frame form a series of separated compartments of the frame and placeable within each of the drawers. Each basket is used for separately receiving either: non recyclable waste food products, plastic materials, tin, glass, or paper products. Several different arrangements of the baskets within the drawer may be used to differently arrange the baskets within the framework of the drawer. As the frame and baskets are pulled out, spaced rails have stops to engage fixed frame rails to prevent further movement. Below this first drawer is a second slidable pull out drawer that may have several different holding frames compartments for the individual baskets.

  • Patent number: 6209979
Abstract: A telescoping slide assembly (10) is provided for the mounting of an equipment mounting support and includes an elongated stationary slide member (20) having two ends and an elongated movable load-carrying slide member (24) having two ends. The load-carrying slide member (24) is telescopically connected to stationary slide member (20) so as to have one end of the load-carrying slide member extended away from one end of the stationary slide member in an extended position and the one end of the load-carrying slide member movable telescopically with respect to the stationary slide member to a retracted position wherein the one end of the load-carrying slide member is telescopically withdrawn into the stationary slide member so as to be located adjacent to the one end of the stationary slide member.

  • Patent number: 6193150
Abstract: A cable guide, drawer and terminal device are provided. The terminal device has a casing. The drawer is moveable between open and closed positions into and out of the casing, respectively. The drawer has a front and a body, the front having a lip extending beyond the body. The cable guide has a guide part attached to the side of the drawer. The guide part has first and second ends. The first end is positioned toward the front of the drawer. The first end extends further beyond the body of the drawer than the second end. The guide part becomes progressively thinner from the first end to the second end so that a cable draped over the drawer is pushed away from the body of the drawer as the drawer is closed. The guide part may have a curved surface portion from the first end to the second end. The guide part may be shaped so that it does not interfere with a member attached to a side surface of the drawer. The guide part may have an attachment portion attached to the side surface of the drawer.
