  • Patent number: 11900788
Abstract: An electronic control module associated with a fire alarm control panel (FACP) and a wander detection system in communication with security system input detection equipment is disclosed herein. The control module disconnects each of the initiating detection circuits (IDC) in each of the one or more zones of the FACP, preventing manual activation of any of the security system equipment affiliated with the respective IDCs to prevent a wandering patient from otherwise activating and engaging the system. By electronically maintaining at least one leg of the normally open (N.O.) circuit in the open position, in effect utilizing the protective loop of the N.O. circuit in a strategic “open circuit” condition, the module prevents any electronic signal from being sent back to the FACP as is typically the case when a manual pull station is activated.

  • Patent number: 11768098
Abstract: A system for monitoring a fill level of a container includes a wireless module disposed on the container including an enclosure, a processor and a wireless transceiver disposed within the enclosure, and a cable mounted to the enclosure. A first pressure sensor is attached to an end of the cable distal from the enclosure and a second pressure sensor is attached to an opposite end within the enclosure. The enclosure is mounted outside of the container. The cable is inserted into the container such that the first pressure sensor is disposed near a bottom of the container. The first pressure sensor measures a pressure at the bottom of the container. The second pressure sensor measures a pressure outside of the container. The readings from the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor are cross-correlated to determine a net pressure for use in calculating the fill level of the container.

Abstract: A locking system that controls access to a parcel storage box having a lockable door or lid with an electrically controllable locking mechanism. The locking system includes an optical scanner for scanning a barcode on a parcel that includes tracking information. A communication module transmits the tracking information to a separate computing system over a wireless network and then receives a response from the computing system indicating whether or not the transmitted barcode information is associated with an expected delivery. Electrical circuitry opens the locking mechanism if the tracking information is associated with an expected delivery.

  • Patent number: 11743753
Abstract: In one aspect, a wireless device is configured to perform relative measurements involving radio measurements of transmissions from first and second cells. The wireless device determines that LBT operations performed by a network node for one or both of the first and second cells may affect a measurement component of a relative measurement. The wireless device performs the relative measurement based on the determination. The network node may also determine whether downlink LBT operations performed on the cells impact at least one measurement component of the relative measurement performed by the wireless device. The network node determines configuration parameters related to the relative measurement, based on said determining, and signals the configuration parameters to the wireless device.
