Image transformations may include modifying colors to assist colorblind users or to highlight color ranges, mapping invisible frequencies into visible colors, adding labels or graphics, and generating time-varying images with flashing or changing features. Images from multiple cameras may be combined, providing users with panoramic vision from a single device. Low light vision may be enhanced, and excessive glare may be attenuated. The system may magnify images with a variable magnification. User interfaces may be provided to configure and customize the image transformations.

    Abstract: A 3D shutter glasses device, coupled via a wireless link to a 3D video display device, maintains a slave clock synchronized with a master clock in the display device. The clocks may comprise Bluetooth clocks. The shutter glasses receive 3D frame display information and time information referenced to the master clock that corresponds to when frames are displayed. The shutter glasses control opening and closing of left and right shutters utilizing slave clock time and the received information. The received display information comprises left, right and/or blank frame pattern information, a frame pattern time interval, a frame refresh rate and a time offset for delaying opening and/or closing of shutters. The time information indicates master clock time when frames are displayed. The shutter glasses and the display maintain synchronization when display and/or time information updates are skipped. The shutter glasses may transmit information to the display device.

    Abstract: The present invention is for more optimally performing recording and reproduction of stereoscopic video. In the present invention, parallax information is utilized to store, in a recording medium, stereoscopic video including left-eye images and right-eye images. Particularly, for video content that contains stereoscopic images, information is obtained regarding the amount of variation in parallactic angle having a given or larger value, a variation time that the variation in parallactic angle takes, and the number of times that the variation in parallactic angle occurs. An evaluation value is calculated that corresponds to the degree of eye fatigue on the basis of the amount of variation, the variation time, and the number of times of the variation. According to the present invention, the video content is encoded in such a manner that the evaluation value is within a given range, and then recorded in the recording medium.

A plurality of pixels which perform desired color display are changed depending on the display state.
