The LVDS switch and LCD controller are located within the enclosure or housing of the AIO PC. The LVDS switch is controlled by a physical electromechanical switch.

Abstract: A displaying apparatus with prompt facility in HDMI-CEC device includes a control unit, a display panel and a HDMI signal processing unit. The control unit can receive a control signal generated from a remote controller. The display panel is controlled by the control unit to display an image. The HDMI signal processing unit is coupled with the control unit and coupled with at least one peripheral apparatus, which also has the HDMI-CEC facility. When the remote controller controls the peripheral apparatus via the control unit and the HDMI signal processing unit, the image of the display panel can show a set of functional-key prompting pattern in the remote controller, corresponding to the peripheral apparatus.

Abstract: A television includes multiple interfaces, a storage medium, an updating module, a processing module and a display module. The multiple interfaces are mounted on a housing of the television, for connecting to peripheral devices. The storage medium stores a table comprising logos of the multiple interfaces and names of the peripheral devices connected to the multiple interfaces. The updating module receives the names of the peripheral devices and updates the table with the names of the peripheral devices. The processing module reads the data of the table stored in the storage medium and converts the data of the table into image signals. The display module visually displays a menu based on the image signals. The menu shows the logos of the multiple interfaces and the names of the peripheral devices connected to the multiple interfaces.

Abstract: A method and system for reducing burn-in of a display is disclosed. A plurality of assets containing text, graphics, and video are stored. Some of these assets are then assembled into a video frame or “screen”, which is subsequently output. Some of the assets are then assembled to form a second video frame or screen. The second screen is subsequently output to the video transport stream and the process is repeated.

Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for acquiring and transforming existing content (e.g., Hyper Text Markup Language HTML content) for display and execution on multiple platforms and architectures. In one embodiment, capture templates are created to harvest content from disparate content sources on multiple platforms. Data is extracted from the content from the disparate content sources using the created capture templates that drives extracting process. A standardized data stream is generated from the extracted data. The standardized data stream is provided for display on one or more different type of platforms.

Abstract: A high speed video switch in a KVM system using discrete Radio Frequency (RF) switch circuits. The RF switch circuits are configured into a multiplexed circuit to route video signals from a selected host computer to a target monitor. Peaking operational amplifiers are used to compensate for the roll-off effect caused by the video connectors. An On Screen Display (OSD) switch using the RF switches is used to rapidly switch between the OSD data and host computer video for display to the target operator control center monitor.

Abstract: A system for creating and viewing customized multimedia segments allows a user to create event identification data from in-band data in a program stream. The in-band data is processed and compiled into event identification data associated with the content stream. The event identification data identifies patterns or sequences of in-band data associated with events in the content stream. Metadata are also included in the event identification data. The event identification data is provided to multimedia devices which receive multimedia content streams containing content streams with in-band data. The in-band data are parsed and compared to the event identification data. If a match occurs, the multimedia device uses the metadata to identify events or perform specified actions.

Abstract: Disclosed are a system, method, apparatus, and computer readable media containing instructions for displaying video files for rapid searching. In two different types of exemplary embodiments, a standalone video skimming system, and a video skimming system includes a server and a client system are disclosed, where the video file may be locally or remotely stored, or can be obtained from a live feed. The system displays many small windows simultaneously, in which different parts of the video chosen by the user are shown at the same time to shorten the skimming time. The video file is encoded using layered encoding to display smaller versions using lower layers, and without needing any processing to generate smaller versions of the video from the original full screen version.
