Abstract: An upper frame member is pivotally attached to an apparatus body so as to pivot between a closed position and an open position. The apparatus body is closed when the upper frame member is in the closed position, and the apparatus body is opened to expose an image forming unit when the upper frame member is in the open position. A locking member locks the upper frame member to the apparatus body when the upper frame member is in the closed position. An operation member positioned on a sheet stacking surface releases the locking member to unlock the upper frame member from the apparatus body.

Abstract: A digital extender integrated into a wall plate assembly. The assembly includes a mounting bracket, wall plate, digital extender circuitry, electrical interface and an electrically conductive cable, wire or related cable lead. The cable lead electrically connects to a signal source and to the digital extender circuitry so that it can transmit a signal from the signal source to the electrical interface through the digital extender circuitry. By making the digital extender circuitry an integral part of the assembly, difficulties associated with packaging, transporting and connecting to the signal source are reduced.

  • Patent number: 7298630
Abstract: A coupling mechanism mainly includes a coupling member and two bucking blades. The coupling member has two anchor ends on two sides to anchor a plugging main board on the coupling member, and a groove on an upper side and a lower side, to hold the bucking blades. The bucking blades are squeezed and deformed when the coupling member is moved and latched on a coupling interface of an electronic device to fill the tolerance between the two, thus can prevent electromagnetic waves from leaking out. The two anchor ends are made of metal and can also prevent the electromagnetic waves from leaking out from two sides. The coupling mechanism solves the interference problem during assembly occurring to conventional coupling mechanisms that use annular conductive-foamed plastics. The cost of the coupling mechanism also decreases.

Abstract: An article for mounting from or against the ceiling is removably coupled to a base fixedly secured to the ceiling, by a person standing on the floor, supporting the article on an elongated rod, and thrusting the article against the base to couple the article and the secured base. The article is removed by inserting the rod into the article, exerting a force on the rod to uncouple the article from the base, and supporting the article on the rod as the article is lowered. The article is thus positioned on or hung from the ceiling, without being manually contacted by the person. The article may be used to mount other devices, such as a sign, smoke detector, etc. or may include such device as a part of the mount.

Abstract: A fixing member for fixing an auxiliary circuit board to a main circuit board is proposed. The fixing member includes a fixing portion for being fixed to the main circuit board; and a combining portion connected to the fixing portion. The combining portion can be elastically deviated from its original position by the auxiliary circuit board while electrically connecting the auxiliary circuit board to the main circuit board. The combining portion can then return back to its original position by its restoring force after the auxiliary circuit board is electrically connected to the main circuit board. Thus, the auxiliary circuit board and the fixing member are combined together, thereby firmly fixing the auxiliary circuit board to the main circuit board.
