  • Patent number: 11652559
Abstract: Path-loss measurements are determined for a test client device moving along a path in a field test environment in which field Wi-Fi mesh network nodes are distributed. The path-loss measurements are reproduced in a field-to-lab test environment that includes a test client device disposed in an electromagnetically-isolated chamber and field test Wi-Fi mesh network nodes disposed in respective electromagnetically-isolated chambers. The test client device and the field test Wi-Fi mesh network nodes are in wired or wireless communication with each other via signal lines. A programmable attenuator is electrically coupled to each signal line. The attenuation of each programmable attenuator is varied to reproduce the path-loss measurements from the field test environment. Path-loss measurements at the location of each field Wi-Fi mesh network node are also reproduced with the programmable attenuators to reproduce the field Wi-Fi mesh network node configuration.

Abstract: There is described an upstream device for translating clock domain for non-synchronized sensors comprising a communication component, a memory component, and a processor. The communication component detects a report received from a sensor that includes a beacon receive time in a sensor clock domain and a current report transmit time in the sensor clock domain. The memory component provides a previous report receive time in the aggregator clock domain and a previous report transmit time in the sensor clock domain. The processor identifies a current report receive time in an aggregator clock domain based on the report detected by the communication component. The processor also determines a beacon receive time in the aggregator clock domain based, at least in part, on the beacon receive time in the sensor clock domain, the current report transmit time, the current report receive time, the previous report receive time, the previous report transmit time.

Abstract: Aspects are provided allowing for selective monitoring of uplink cancellation indication (ULCI) occasions by UEs and allowing UEs to determine from ULCI whether canceled uplink transmission are carried on non-supplementary uplink (NUL) carriers or supplementary uplink (SUL) carriers. A UE may determine not to monitor a ULCI occasion if it does not have an uplink transmission which can be punctured by higher priority data. When the uplink transmission is dynamically scheduled, the UE may determine to monitor a ULCI occasion if the UE receives the uplink grant a certain number of symbols earlier than the ULCI occasion. The base station may configure blocks in downlink control information to indicate the UE should apply ULCI to SUL and/or NUL. The base station may configure the UE to perform different behaviors after receiving a ULCI depending on whether the portion of the uplink transmission to be canceled is on SUL or NUL.

  • Patent number: 11444956
Abstract: A traffic-monitoring system that monitors encrypted traffic exchanged between IP addresses used by devices and a network, and further receives the user-action details that are passed over the network. By correlating between the times at which the encrypted traffic is exchanged and the times at which the user-action details are received, the system associates the user-action details with the IP addresses. In particular, for each action specified in the user-action details, the system identifies one or more IP addresses that may be the source of the action. Based on the IP addresses, the system may identify one or more users who may have performed the action. The system may correlate between the respective action-times of the encrypted actions and the respective approximate action-times of the indicated actions. The system may hypothesize that the indicated action may correspond to one of the encrypted actions having these action-times.

  • Patent number: 11438352
Abstract: A network appliance may be coupled to a network tool configured to monitor the traffic within a computer network. Often, the network tool is operable in two modes (i.e., an inline mode and an out-of-band mode). Before the network tool is deployed as an inline device, however, it is desirable to verify that the network tool is secure. Described herein are systems and techniques for verifying network tools prior to deployment as inline devices. More specifically, the network appliance may be configured to modify the content of a data packet (e.g., by altering a bit) and transmit the modified data packet downstream to a network tool. The network appliance can monitor the network tool to make sure the network tool drops or returns the modified data packet. These techniques allow the network appliance to controllably simulate the receipt of malicious traffic by the network tool.
