Abstract: A method of automatic announcer voice removal from a televised sporting event. A sound processing circuit divides an audio input signal of a televised sporting event into multiple audio segments. The audio input signal includes crowd noise and announcer commentary. If an audio segment does not exceed a pre-defined amplitude threshold, a voice removal utility adds the audio segment to a recent crowd noise library and stores the segment in an output buffer. If the amplitude of a segment exceeds the threshold, the utility adds the segment to a recent announcer voice library. The sound processing circuit generates an attenuated version of the segment and blends the attenuated version with one or more mixed segments from the recent crowd noise library. The voice removal utility stores the attenuated and blended segment in the output buffer and outputs one or more audio segments from the buffer in a chronological order.

Abstract: A portable RFID device includes an analog modulation radio frequency transmitter and a data storage holding audio data files. In response to user entered commands the device retrieves the audio data files, applies digital to analog conversion to generate analog audio signals, and transmits the analog audio signals through the analog modulation RF amplifier. Optionally, the analog modulation RF amplifier is a frequency modulation (FM) modulator and transmitter, optionally using a UHF broadcast FM band. The transmitted analog modulated RF signal is received and played by a receiver and playback device proximal to the transmitter. Optionally, a locking operation is applied after storing the multimedia files, preventing subsequent altering of the files.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus capable of executing loop playback of a video from a start position desired by a system user without requiring setting thereof in advance. A button displayed on a console section shifts a playback position of the video to a desired position according to an operation by a user. A comparative determination section determines whether or not a shifted playback position shifted backward. When the shifted playback position shifted backward, a video controller stores the shifted playback position as a start position of a loop playback section and the playback position before being shifted as an end position of the same, and gives an instruction for controlling loop playback of the loop playback section defined by the start position and the end position.

Abstract: The present invention provides a technique for easily achieving a resume function for moving image content stored in one file in a removable recording medium. According to the present invention, a removable disc (Di1) in which moving image content stored in one file and another content are stored is played back, and, when playback of MPEG4 moving image file in the disc (Di1) that is played back is stopped and the disc (Di1) is removed, the file size, the file name, and the address of the MPEG4 moving image file are stored in a RAM 8. When the disc (Di1) is loaded again and the MPEG4 moving image file is played back, if it is determined that the disc (Di1) is identical to the removed disc by reading the file size and the file name stored in the RAM 8, playback of the MPEG4 moving image file is resumed on the basis of the address stored in the RAM 8.
