Abstract: A drawstring potty chair liner includes a composite sheet of material having an absorbent layer and a liquid barrier, and a drawstring extending around a periphery of the sheet and accessible at opposite sides thereof. The sheet is placed into the bowl of a potty chair with the water resistant side facing the bowl. After the potty chair is used, the drawstrings are drawn up to enclose waste within the sheet with the water resistant side out. The sheet can then be discarded or transported over a toilet, opened and emptied, or otherwise discarded.

Abstract: A disposable portable toilet that is efficiently fabricated from foldable stock, such as corrugated cardboard, with minimal waste and adapted with a fluid absorbing inner liner is disclosed. Foldable stock material is formed as a blank sheet having a plurality of fold lines defining multiple panels disposed in side-by-side relation, and a joining tab. Each panel includes a fold-in tab that functions to provide a rim. The blank sheet provides a structure that may be configured to form a support structure that is selectively configurable from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration. An absorbent liner is insertedly received within the support structure. Padding sections are disposed on the liner in proximity to overlay the top rim of the support structure when the liner is received therein thereby providing the device with a padded upper rim. A drawstring functions as a closure member to close the liner after use.

Abstract: A disposable liner for a child's potty chair includes a generally flexible sheet material, a pouch portion formed near the center of the sheet material to extend downwardly into the opening of the potty chair, an absorbent material disposed in the pouch, a plurality of outwardly extending portions extending laterally from the sheet material, and an adhesive material disposed on an underside surface of the outwardly extending portions to adhere the disposable liner to the seat portion of the potty chair. A pull string may be disposed around the pouch, such that the pull string may be pulled after the disposable liner is used to close the pouch portion.

Abstract: A waterless-toilet liner has a seat panel adapted to lie atop a waterless-toilet seat and formed with a central hole of a size and shape generally corresponding to a size and shape of the hole of the seat, and a bag having an upper rim secured to the seat panel around the hole therein. This liner is made by first advancing a foil tube to a first work station and forming a cross-seam and cut in the foil tube-to cut therefrom a bag having an open end. Then the open end of the bag is fitted between a pair of foil sheet. An opening is cut through the foil sheets and open end of the bag and the edges of the bag at the opening and there adjacent are bonded to the foil sheets. Then the foil sheets are cut through or perforated downstream of the bag.

Left and right support panels are pivotally attached, by means of support hinge knuckles, to seat hinge knuckles on the seat left and right ends, respectively. Hinge pins engage hinge holes in the knuckles. The support panels are able to pivot from a folded position adjacent the seat lower surface, to an open position extending downward. A flexible, sealable waste bag hangs beneath the seat to receive waste. A tray has a plurality of hooks, arrayed around a central hole, that engage holes in the waste bag. The tray slides into the seat tracks to position the tray central hole directly beneath the seat central hole. A zip-lock closure seals the waste bag. The combination changing and toileting station comprises a toilet assembly, and a changing table assembly removably attached to toilet assembly. Abstract: A mobile equipment service device for use by non-ambulatory persons. The device can be a manually movable commode for permitting such persons to independently access a system to contain waste, seal the waste, prevent odors for emanating into the room, and permit later removal and disposal of the waste. The system may also introduce an odor absorbent material into the sealed area where the waste is retained. In a further embodiment, a programmable device, such as a commode, can be remotely operated by the person, increasing the person's ability to independently access and use the device by moving the device to and from that person, and then securing that device to permit safe use by those persons. Preferably, the programmable device is battery powered so as to be self-propelled. In addition, the device contains a data collection system that collects data on use, and transmits that data as directed to location.

Abstract: A commode liner (20) and receptacle (100) design for providing a safe, easy, and affordable way to dispose of human waste from existing commodes. A user of the preferably disposable plastic liner which is constructed of a single sheet of material slips the liner cuffs over the receptacle support thereby opening and retaining the bag open without tucking the bag edges over the rim. To obscure contents and minimize odors, the user lifts the commode toilet seat to access the receptacle, and stacks one of the supports onto the other support into a closed position. Once ready to be discarded, the user can easily lift off the cuffs without coming into contact the liner's soiled areas by slipping their hand into pocket of the cuff. The user can then close the neck of the bag with a variety devices such as twist tie, reverse one of the cuffs over the other so that the exposed potentially soiled areas are turned inward.

Both bags may be made out of sheet-like liquid impermeable material such as a plastic film or multi-layer plastic film. The primary containment bag is funnel-shaped, with a large opening on top and a small sealed containment area on the bottom. The top of the primary bag has a pair of straps which are used to secure the bag above the buttocks and around one's waist. The top of the bag has an extended front portion which may be pulled between the legs and up over the genitals for sanitary, splatter-less relief. The lower containment area may contain a hydrophilic compound that absorbs liquid waste and turns it into a gel, and may be mixed with an effervescent agent and waste control ingredients such as fragrances, enzymes and/or biocides.

Abstract: The receptacle with absorbent pack comprises a receptacle adapted for positioning beneath the seat of a portable toilet to receive solid and aqueous liquid waste, especially urine. The receptacle is made of a flexible, liquid impermeable, biodegradable material. The receptacle has a volume sufficient for multiple use of the portable toilet. A means for sealing the receptacle liquid tight is provided, such as a zip-lock seal. Used in combination with the receptacle is an absorbent pack having a liquid absorbing material sealed within a liquid permeable, biodegradable, heat sealed envelope. The liquid absorbing material is an absorbent gelling water-insoluble, water-swellable polymeric material with an optional wicking material. The absorbent pack can include an odor control material and/or an antimicrobial agent as options.

Extracted vapors are filtered, and sanitized components thereof are isolated and optionally stored. The solids remaining within the liner are optionally dried and isolated for ultimate disposal.

The absorbent pad is substantially circular in shape, where the absorbent pad has a diameter that is comparable to the liner/bag for which it is sized. The absorbent pad has a plastic filmic bottom layer, a porous nonwoven top layer, and absorbent fibrous materials between the top and the bottom layer. The absorbent pad is adhered to a bottom of the flexible plastic liner/bag. The stiffness of the pad is sufficient to impart shape to the plastic liner/bag.

Abstract: A potty chair liner for a toddler toilet chair includes a container having an impermeable outer layer, a permeable inner layer, and an absorbent core sandwiched therebetween. The outer layer includes a closed bottom and a continuous side wall having a lip for positioning the container on the toddler toilet chair and defining an open top. The outer layer is formed of a soluble material such as polyvinyl alcohol coated with a polymeric film having hydrolytic degradability additives that allow the soluble material to dissolve only when the film is exposed to an excess of water and is thus degraded. The absorbent core includes polyacrylate crystals and cellulosic fibers.

Abstract: A disposable waste container that includes a housing defining a reservoir within the housing and where the housing is adaptable for receiving bodily waste. The housing includes a plurality of layers, where the layers include at least an inner layer and an outer layer and at least one intermediate layer between the inner and outer layers. The housing defines a self-supportable structure, wherein the self-supportable structure is defined by at least one of the layers having a semi-rigid structure to enable self-supporting of the housing.

Abstract: A portable toilet, suitable in disasters, leisure activities, and others, is provided. The portable toilet includes a pail 2 and a seat structure detachably mounted at the opening of the pail 2. The seat structure 1 has a base 1a, a seat 1b and a cover 1c. A metal ring band 4 is detachably mounted to the pail 2 with a fastener 4a. Parallel metal stays 6, 6 protrude horizontally from the outer surface of the metal band ring 4. A hand grip 3 is formed of an U-shaped metal pipe 5. The lower ends of each U-shaped metal pipe are securely fixed to ends of each parallel metal stay 6. The metal band ring 4 of the hand grip 3 is tightly banded around the pail 2 with the fastener 4a. The pipes 5, 5 stand upward from the right and left sides of the pail 2. When the user sits down on the seat 1b or gets off therefrom, the user is supported with the hands holding the hand grips 5, 5.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a potty liner 1 made of a semi-permeable liner sheet 2 of very light material. Facing sides of the liner sheet 2 are provided with elastic members 3 and a perforation 4. The contraction of the elastic members 3 gives the liner sheet 2 a bag like shape with three open sides 8. Soft, flexibel and very light the contracted potty liner 1 is inserted easily in varying shapes of a child potty 6 and held in place by the elastic members 3 wrapped around the rim of the potty 6. On removing the potty liner 1 the contracted liner sheet 2 retains the solid waste, while liquids are emptied with the potty 6. The elastic members 3 are tom off along the perforation 4 for disposal in the garbage. The rest of the liner sheet 2 is flushed down the toilet together with the human solid waste. The potty liner 1 helps a parent or caretaker 7 to easily dispose of human solid wastes, i.e. in a decent, hygenic and ecologically acceptable way.
