Abstract: A carousel ride system includes a rotatable platform, a plurality of figures that are configured to rotate with the rotatable platform, and a lift system. The lift system is configured to raise and to lower the plurality of figures relative to the rotatable platform along a vertical axis during ride operations and to position each of the plurality of figures at a same vertical height relative the rotatable platform along the vertical axis during loading and unloading operations.

Abstract: A mobile elevating apparatus may include a mobile base having a front and a rear with a longitudinal axis being defined between the front and rear, with the mobile base comprising a frame and a wheel assembly mounted on the frame to support the frame in a manner permitting mobility. The apparatus may also include a lift assembly including at least one tier and being mounted on the frame and being extendable and retractable with respect to the frame to raise and lower a top of the lift assembly, an object mounted on the top of the lift assembly such that extension and retraction of the lift assembly raises and lowers the object, a power source positioned on the mobile base; and a control assembly mounted on the mobile base. The apparatus may also include a lift assembly including at least one tier and being mounted on the frame and being extendable and retractable with respect to the frame to raise and lower a top of the lift assembly, an object mounted on the top of the lift assembly such that extension and retraction of the lift assembly raises and lowers the object, a power source positioned on the mobile base; and a control assembly mounted on the mobile base. In embodiments, the object may comprise a display sign.

Abstract: A wildlife damage prevention device and system are provided. The wildlife damage prevention system includes a wildlife deterrence unit and one or more sensor devices associated with the wildlife deterrence unit. The wildlife deterrence unit includes an inflatable device and a base unit. The one or more sensor devices are separate from the wildlife deterrence unit and distributed around a geographic region a user intends to protect from wildlife. The one or more sensor devices sense motion, and upon sensing motion, send a signal to a receiver at the base unit. The receiver activates a blower and/or a light also at the base unit. The blower inflates the inflatable device, and the light illuminates the inflatable device.

Abstract: A gift packaging device includes a support member, a stem slidably engaged through the support member and moveable up and down relative to the support member, a carrier member disposed on the stem for supporting a gift, a number of flaps pivotally attached to the support member and rotateable relative to the support member between a folded position where the gift is shielded with the flaps, and an opened position where the gift is viewable, and a number of links are coupled between the stem and the flaps for allowing the flaps to be rotated relative to the support member between the folded position and the opened position when the stem is moved relative to the support member of the support device.

In an embodiment, the control system controls lighting effects within a display area containing the item on display during the display. In an embodiment, the control system controls audio media that is played during the display.

Abstract: The invention relates to a musical box comprising: a comb (30) with a plurality of vibrating blades (3) of different lengths so as to produce audible sounds of different frequencies when the vibrating blades are vibrated; a plate or a cylinder (2) provided with points (20) so as to alternately vibrate the different vibrating blades (3) when the plate or cylinder is rotated; and a visual animation device (4, 5) actuated by said blades.

Abstract: A waist twisting station includes a base, a rotating unit for waist twisting, and at least one spring to generate resistance force. The rotating unit has a hoop linked with a spring, which can be pushed away by user's body movement. The inside layer of the hoop has a row of massage balls so that the body movement can exercise the waist and lags as well as receive body massage at the same time to accelerate calorie burning. In addition to the waist twisting hoop, a handle bar with or without spring connected to the base can give user a unique whole body exercise experience.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mannequin, and, more specifically, relates to a large-scale promotional mannequin capable of being manipulated while moving carried on a person's shoulders like a backpack at, for example, various venues or on the streets for the purpose of advertising or promotion. The backpack-type large-scale promotional mannequin according to the present design comprises: a main mannequin body fitted with a blower operated by means of a battery on one side such that air can be injected therein in tube fashion; a support for supporting the main mannequin body from the bottom so as to allow same to be upright; and a backpack means for strapping, onto the shoulders, the main mannequin body supported upright by means of the support.

Abstract: An interactive greeting card having a multi-panel greeting card body, a sound module and a molded track contained between two or more panels of the multi-panel greeting card body, and a moveable object which is attached to the molded track through an opening in one or more of the greeting card panels. The moveable object is operative to move from one end of the molded track to the opposite end of the molded track whereby playback of a pre-recorded digital audio file is initiated. The interactive greeting card may additionally contain a small motor which causes movement of a second moveable object and an object launcher which is operative to launch an object along the track and into the air. Other special effects may be included such as lights, additional sounds or movement, or any other special effects which can be incorporated into a greeting card.

Abstract: An adaptable three-dimensional ornamental wire frame model includes a head, a neck, a body and various appendages. The various appendages are mounted to the body or to each other by pivot joints that permit pivoting of the appendages relative to the body and/or to each other. The model is adaptable to posing in multiple ornamental positions and configurations as desired by the user. Preferably, lights on a light string are mounted on the adaptable three-dimensional ornamental wire frame model to outline the shape of the model.

Abstract: The present provides a training device in the form of a specially designed bobblehead doll. The Cesar Millan Bobblehead is configured in the form of a dog with a head being a cartoon image of Cesar Millan who is known by many people as the Dog Whisperer. A dog owner will be reminded of the training methods taught by Cesar Millan by looking at the Cesar Millan Dog Whisperer Bobblehead. Consistency is important in effective animal training. Seeing this device will help to ingrain the positive training methods taught by Cesar Millan, and hence result in a better trained dog.

Abstract: A method of interacting with a component of a product at a display location is provided. The method includes moving a moveable assembly comprising a filtration device along a track component toward a stationary assembly mounted to a base. The track component guides the moveable assembly toward the adapter. The filtration device is connected to the adapter.

Abstract: A toy product including a doll and a display device that may be used with the doll is disclosed. The doll may have one or more movable features and may be releasably coupled to the display device. The display device may include an actuating assembly and a folding assembly with enclosure pieces that may alternately enclose and reveal the doll within the display device. The assemblies may communicate with each other and with movable features of the doll through selectively actuable components. A locking member may engage and releasably retain the folding assembly in a retracted position and may return the folding assembly to an extended position upon disengagement. In the embodiments in which the enclosure pieces resemble flower petals, the movement of the enclosure pieces may have the effects of a flower bloom closing and opening up to respectively surround and reveal the doll.

Abstract: Disclosed is a simulated human form figure, such as a mannequin, which is standing on a wheeled box base, with the hands affixed to a business advertising sign positioned in the direction of passers-by such as on a sidewalk or roadway. The base box contains a battery-operated motor that is connected to the motor mounted in back of the sign so that the arms of the figure will move in a “waving” motion to automatically wave the sign without human intervention.

Abstract: The mirror image display method is used to suspend the main subject of a decorative or presentation display in mid air. This is accomplished by affixing the flat side of a symmetrically divided main subject flush onto a true first-surface mirror, which makes up one wall of the display body and eliminates the subjects visible seam line.

Abstract: The kinetic sculptural system of interconnected modules has multiple configurable positions (e.g., square or sphere). One system has a central coupler and eight struts each with a pivot element at its distal end. Modules move on the struts radially and rotate 180 degrees in a slotted radial passageway. The slot and radial channel are coextensive. To configure the system, modules are moved outboard, then rotated 180 degrees, the moved inboard as a toy or puzzle or object of art. The kinetic sculptural system can be configured with n struts wherein n is greater than 1 and the central coupler rests upon an imaginary ground plane (such as a hemispheric central coupler rising above a ground plane). Each movable module has a complementary first and second inboard shape and the module shapes complement each other to form a compressed first and second shape.

Abstract: A toy or game apparatus that includes a base in the shape of a cupcake, a simulated flame structure movable between an exposed-to-view position and a hidden-to-view position within a simulated candle structure, a support structure mounted to the base with a top edge in contact with a bottom edge of the flame structure to support the flame structure in the exposed position, a reset structure having a slanted top surface to enable the flame structure to move to the support structure and have the top edge of the support structure engage the bottom edge of the flame structure, the candle structure being depressible for moving the support structure relative to the reset structure, and a spring for raising the flame structure and the support structure so that the flame structure is again exposed, is disclosed and described.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a solar powered flower of dynamic simulation comprising a stem, a solar power supplier, a connecting base, a driving unit, a movable tray, and plurality of swinging members as well as petals. Wherein, the connecting base fixed on the top end of the stem and peripherally provided with multiple inlaying slots, in which the swinging member is pivoted. Each swinging member provides an upper arm to install a petal, and a lower arm to pivot the movable tray, on which contacts an output terminal of the driving unit for the movable tray to move up- and downward to motivate the vacillation of the swinging member as a seesaw. The petals then swing conforming to the swinging member to bloom and close achieving a dynamic simulation of the reality.

Abstract: A device which simulates natural flowering actions, including growth and efflorescence, is actuated by partial immersion of a stem into a liquid. An aperture through the stem base admits the liquid into the stem. A piston slidably disposed within the stem is driven downwardly by the bias force of a resilient spring while an agent which impedes the piston motion dissolves in the liquid. Growth is simulated by a sleeve outside the stem which descends in relation thereto to push the flower upwardly. A simulated corolla is attached to the stem and gradually rotates and opens during the ascent thereof. A cam controls the pivotal position of lifters which open and close the corolla. The petals of the corolla vibrate before opening and open with variations in starting time. As the corolla opens, a surprise gift, gradually ascending on a presentation platform, is revealed. The device may be reused.

According to the invention, a central carrier (12) is provided and has at least one elongated side carrier (14) integrally formed on it with one of its narrow sides respectively on two sides facing away from each other, wherein at least one of the side carriers (14) carries at least one identification plate (16) on at least one of its longitudinal sides.

Abstract: A transaction card includes a base member, an auxiliary member and an account identifier. The base member defines a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface and a slot extending therethrough. The auxiliary member includes a first section and a handle section and is coupled with the base member such that the first section is disposed on the first surface of the base member. The handle section extends from the first surface, through the slot and to the second surface of the base member such that movement of the handle section causes movement of the auxiliary member relative to the base member. The account identifier is included on one of the base member and the auxiliary member and links the transaction card to at least one of an account and a record.

Abstract: This application is a continuation-in-part of application Ser. No. 12,170,438, filed 2008 Jul. 10 by the present inventor, which claims priority to Provisional Application Ser. No. 60,954,815, filed Aug 9. 2007. One embodiment of a bobblehead sign display contains a body portion (12) and a head portion made up of head substrates (10 and 11). Head substrates (10 and 11) are joined together by head spacers (14 and 15) using an adhesive or reusable fastener. An elastic cord (16) spans a distance between head spacers (15). A support rod (13) is rigidly attached to the body substrate (12). The weight of the assembled head portion is supported by the support rod (13) via a connection to the elastic cord (16). Graphics may be affixed to the outer surfaces of 10, 11 and 12, which will be viewable to spectators around the device.

Abstract: An action wobble head doll includes a preprinted, die cut, animated body having an image secured thereto. The image can be a customized digital photograph. The image is secured to the body of the doll via a mounting assembly, which includes a spring secured to at least one mounting plate in a substantially perpendicular manner thereby creating a unique side-to-side movement of the image with respect to the body.

Abstract: Disclosed is a sound sensing toy including: a plant model including a flower provided with a plurality of petals in a radial shape on a side circumferential face of a substantial circular board shaped center section; a sound sensing section to sense external sound; a control section to perform predetermined control according to sound sensed by the sound sensing section; and a light emitting section provided on the plant model and including a light emitting body and light guiding plate to perform predetermined light emission by control of the control section, wherein the light emitting section is structured so that a light from the light emitting body enters from a side face of the light guiding plate and exits from a front face side of the petal; and the control section controls the light emitting section to emit light in a predetermined light emitting pattern.

Abstract: There is provided a control mechanism for use with a puppet and puppets adapted for control thereby. One or more single-strand, sheathed cables are adapted for imparting motion to at least one movable part of a puppet. Both longitudinal (i.e., in-and-out) and rotary motions may be imparted to the cables, thereby allowing a wide range of resulting movements of the attached puppet part. In one embodiment, longitudinal movement of the cable strand imparts a flapping motion to the wings of a puppet while rotary motion of the same cable imparts a wagging motion to the puppet's tail. Regardless of whether one or two cables are used, the actuation of the cables may be performed discreetly and out of view of the audience of the puppeteer's show.

Abstract: A trophy including a base having a support surface for supporting a support platform of a rotation mechanism configured to support and rotate a rotating article about a vertical axis of rotation. The rotation mechanism includes a motor concealed inside the rotating article and a support platform substantially concealed inside a recess formed in an outside surface of the rotating article. An output shaft aligned with the axis of rotation connects the motor inside the interior of the rotating article to the support platform. The motor includes a motor body nonrotatably coupled to the interior of the rotating article. Surface interaction forces between the support platform and the support surface are greater than or equal to a predetermined amount of rotational drive force generated by the motor and applied to the output shaft causing the motor body and the rotating article coupled thereto to rotate about the output shaft.

Abstract: By providing a pre-printed promotional system which employs a housing and a cooperating slider panel mounted to each other, with the slider panel being movable for activating a foldable graphic element to move between an open displayed position and a closed, folded position, a unique, hands-on, printed, visually exciting and interest generating advertising/promotional product is attained. Preferably, the promotional system comprises two cooperating components which are cooperatively associated to each other in sliding interengagement. Although two components are required for achieving the basic construction, alternate embodiments of the present invention may incorporate additional components for providing a further enhanced visual impact.

Abstract: A decoration device may include a low-friction drive line and a PWM controlled motor that reduces or eliminates the gearing needed to achieve appropriate speed and torque at the motor output shaft. In preferred embodiments, the decoration device is an ornament that includes a low friction interfaces to accommodate relatively low torque output from the PWM drive motor. In certain embodiments, the PWM controller drives a motor at low speeds suitable for ornament applications.

Abstract: A sound actuated display device incorporating a vibratory-rotary motion converter to convert vibrations resulting from sounds and music to rotary motion. The rotary motion causes display elements to move and pulse in a manner synchronized to the rhythms of the sounds and music. The result is an aesthetically interesting display of motion.

Abstract: A light-decorative object puppet luminous flux driving device, and more particularly, a driving device for providing an appearance of a light decorative object with dynamic luminous flux effects, includes a base having joined with a puppet located above, and a driving device and a light source at an interior thereof. The driving device is for simultaneously driving a planar grating and a barrel-shaped grating. Using the barrel-shaped grating, contrast light waves are projected onto a body of the puppet and transmitted to an exterior. Using the planar grating, constantly changing glittering effects are formed at illuminating portions of the decorative object for enhancing aesthetic values.

Abstract: A method for using one or more inflatable three-dimensional humanoid figures for use in background scenes associated with still photography, motion pictures and video productions which are low in cost, lightweight, easy to use, easy to store, easy to transport and provides a greater range of viewing angles. It is also envisioned that this invention can be used for corporate conventions requiring the illusion of a large number of participants, in advertising and other functions where the illusion of large numbers of people enhance the overall objective of the functions.

Abstract: A structure of a decorative article including a base device, a motor, a guiding device and a transmission device is disclosed. The motor including a driving shaft is mounted on the base device. The guiding device including a guiding means with a guiding track is mounted on the base device. The transmission device includes a sliding plate with a hole, a transmission shaft with a disk wheel eccentrically formed on the end, a linking bar connected to the sliding plate and a gear set, the disk wheel being located in the hole so that the sliding plate is slidably moved in the guiding track when the transmission shaft is driven by the motor through the transmission of the gear set. It provides a smooth transmission with lower friction to obtain a stable structure having longer lifetime and higher quality.

The wall pedestal includes a wall mounting plate adapted for securing the pedestal to the wall at various heights. The wall mounting plate includes an outwardly extending horizontal support arm. A far end of the horizontal support arm includes a threaded bore for receiving a threaded lower end of a vertical pivot rod. An upper end of the vertical pivot rod is slidably received in a lower portion of a vertical sleeve. A top portion of the vertical sleeve is attached to a portion of a display mounting plate. The display mounting plate is adapted for attachment to the wildlife object suspended the object thereon.

Abstract: A rotabable decorative-article structure including a rotating device connected with and supported by a base device is disclosed. The rotating device includes a fixed seat, a motor, a guiding cylinder and a rotating seat. The fixed seat includes a through opening and an annular slot with a guiding surface. The motor with a shaft is mounted on the fixed seat. The guiding cylinder is located inside the annular slot and includes a guiding wall to form a guiding track with respect to the guiding surface. The rotating seat is rotatably furnished in the annular slot, and includes a ring gear driven by the shaft of the motor and at least one guiding pillar with a guiding wheel sliding within the guiding track. The rotating seat is individually rotated, and the optical fibers and/or the wires separately go through the opening of the fixed seat. Therefore, the fiber decorations can be further used to decorate the rotatable decorative article.

Abstract: A digital sports pop-up apparatus in which the apparatus is representative of a predetermined sport. The apparatus comprises a stand member with a substantially hollow member engageable with an upper portion of the stand member, the substantially hollow member being in a predetermined shape indicative of a particular sport. There is an opening disposed adjacent a top of the hollow member to enable access into an interior thereof. A pop-up figure is disposed within the interior of the hollow member. A hinged lid is rotatingly engageable with the hollow member adjacent the opening for closing the opening. A latch is disposed in one of the hollow member and the hinged lid for securing the hinged lid in a closed position. There is a means engageable with the latch means for releasing the lid and a biasing means for causing the pop-up figure to be raised out of the hollow member when the hinged lid is open.

Abstract: A novelty device for mounting on an elongated support member such as a vehicle antenna which comprises a shaft having a hollow portion at a first end to receive the support member, the inner diameter of the hollow portion of said shaft being greater than the greater diameter of the top portion of the support member and smaller than the diameter of the top end of the support member, said shaft having two or more resilient members disposed at a second end thereof. The novelty device includes one or more display members having indicia or an image disposed thereon, which are received with the two or more resilient members and projecting therefrom. The novelty device further includes a bearing insert, which is received with the hollow portion of the shaft, and has a longitudinal channel defined therein for receiving a portion of the elongated support member. The novelty further includes a cap adapted for pressing onto the second end of the shaft to detachably secure the display members to the shaft.

Abstract: An animated Christmas tree includes a trunk member having a plurality of openings and an actuating member positioned within the trunk member and extending substantially the length thereof and being operable between an extended position and a collapsed position. A plurality of flexible tree branches are anchored to the actuating member and extend outwardly from the trunk member. Upon movement of the actuating member in the trunk member, the tree branches move between the collapsed position and the extended position.

Abstract: An ornamental motion display toy is constructed to include a base, a holder supported on the base to hold a driven member and a display item on the driven member, a transparent container sealed to the holder to hold a liquid, a pressure regulator adapted to control the inside pressure of the container, and a driving mechanism located on the base and adapted to move the driven member and the display item in the liquid inside the transparent container.

Abstract: The present invention includes the basic components of traditional liquid ornament, which means an ornamental is in the “water ball”. However, the ornamental in the present invention can achieve the effect of three-dimensional movement. The present invention uses at least one string to connect the ornamental object with two passive magnetic objects (e.g. magnet, iron), so that the ornamental will move accordingly when two passive magnetic objects move. Furthermore, the relative position of two passive magnetic objects is also variable so that the ornamental can achieve the effect of three-dimensional movement.

Abstract: A display globe assembly includes a transparent dome defining a cavity in which a scene is disposed and a base supporting the transparent dome. A shaft is rotatably disposed within the cavity of the dome and is rotated by a driving mechanism. An arm is attached to and projects generally radially from a distal end of the shaft within the cavity and engages an ornament disposed on exterior surface of the dome to move it thereon.
