Patent number: 8048509Abstract: Thin sheets of magnetic material are subjected to a pressing process to stamp many sheets of core pieces, and caulking projections defined in the core pieces are caused to go into connecting through holes defined in the core pieces for connecting and laminating to produce a laminated core. In lower layer of the core pieces having the caulking projections arranged in different positions seeing in plan, at least two sheets of core pieces and other core pieces having the connecting through holes are provided. The caulking projections defined in the core pieces have projecting length of at least twice of thickness of the core pieces, and are fitted in the connecting through holes, so that upper and lower laminated core pieces are unified.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 2002Date of Patent: November 1, 2011Assignee: Mitsui High-Tec, Inc.Inventor: Katsufusa Fujita

Publication number: 20110262698Abstract: A control panel (2) for a keyboard module (1) is proposed, comprising a cost-effective genuine metal optic, said panel not having a shielding effect for antennas and capable of being manufactured and installed in a simple manner. The control panel (2) comprises a polycarbonate film (4) as a surface element, said film having a UV coating (5) on a top side and a mechanical structure (6) and having a non-conducting PVD, screen printed or NCVM coating (7) on a bottom side. Following said coating (7) is a black coating (8) with material removed at selected locations such that image structures (9) are arranged which mechanically penetrate the black coating (8) and at the same time penetrate the non-conducting PVD, screen printed or NCVM coating (7) proximate to said selected locations of the black coating (8). Following the black coating (8) is in turn a color coating (10), such that the color coating (10) covers at least the areas of the image structures (9) and in a pre-selected color, respectively.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 27, 2009Publication date: October 27, 2011Applicant: Gigaset Communications GMBHInventors: Achim Lerner, Jörg Ernsten

Publication number: 20110260200Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of fabricating non-metal substrate having steps of (a) providing a non-metal board having two opposite first and second surfaces; (b) drilling at least one second through hole through the non-metal board; (c) electroplating copper on outsides of non-metal board and an inside of each of at least one second through hole to form copper films outside of the non-metal board and at least one solid copper pole in corresponding to the at lest one second through hole; and (d) patterning the copper films to form line pattern. The non-metal substrate has high thermal conductivity and the solid copper poles therein are integrated with the line pattern formed outside thereof, so the connection strength among the die pad, solid copper poles and heat conduction pad is good.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2011Publication date: October 27, 2011Inventor: Yi-Chang Chen

Publication number: 20110256418Abstract: An assembly for limiting corrosion between a first member made of a first material and a second member made of a second material, different from the first material, includes a plurality of cylindrical dimples defined in the first member. The cylindrical dimples are formed as a one-piece structure with the first member. The cylindrical dimples and the second member interact to define a plurality of galvanic contact zones. An electrocoat covers substantially all of the first member and the second member, but does not cover the galvanic contact zones. Therefore, the galvanic contact zones are not in contact with the electrocoat and are sealed to prevent contact with an electrolyte. A method of assembling a first member to a second member, to limit corrosion therebetween, is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2010Publication date: October 20, 2011Applicant: GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS, INC.Inventors: Michael P. Patent number: 8039081Abstract: Void-maintaining laminates comprising fuzzy woven or fuzzy membrane layers are provided. Laminates of the present invention comprise at least one sheet-like core element, typically comprising void spaces or channels and, bonded thereto, at least one layer of fuzzy woven composite for use in geotechnical applications. The superior adhesion or bonding of the respective layers to one another, and its contribution to the structural integrity of void spaces or channels, enables the construction and positioning of drainage composites having the desirable characteristics of high permittivity and high transmissivity. Numerous embodiments of the invention are possible. Fuzzy geocomposites of the invention can be used, for example, underneath buildings, foundations, roadways and other paved structures, or in landfills or other types of geotechnical installations to replace or complement conventional drainage materials such as sand, stone and gravel. Methods for making the fuzzy geocomposites are also provided.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 2003Date of Patent: October 18, 2011Inventors: Peter J. Ianniello, Giovanni Capra
