Abstract: A connector is configured to be connected to a connecting object. The connector comprises a housing, an actuator, an upper contact and a lower contact. The actuator has a lift-up portion and is held by the housing so as to be pivotable between an open position and a close position. The upper contact and the lower contact are held by the housing. The connecting object is accommodated between the upper contact and the lower contact when the actuator is located at the open position. When the actuator is pivoted and located at the close position, the lift-up portion forces an end of the upper contact to move so that an opposite end of the upper contact presses the connection object downward. Then, the connection object forces an end of the lower contact to move so that an opposite end of the lower contact presses the connection object upward.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a plastic base and at least one row of terminals. The plastic base has a connection slot. The at least one row of terminals are disposed in the plastic base. Each of the terminals is formed by bending a plate surface of a metal sheet, and has an elastic arm, a fixing portion and a pin. The fixing portion is fixed to the plastic base, the elastic arm has a connection point disposed in the connection slot, and the pin extends out of the base. A cut surface of the elastic arm forms the connection point, and the elastic arm elastically moves in a plate surface direction when the connection point is pressed.

Abstract: A blocking member is sized and shaped to be installed beneath a trigger or triggers of a duplex connector. The blocking member prevents depression of the trigger(s) of the duplex connector and hence prevents depression of latches to release the plugs of the duplex connector from mated receptacles. The blocking member does not block actuation of the latches of the duplex connector. Through the use of a tool, the trigger(s) may be bypassed and the latches operated directly by the tool to release the plugs of the duplex connector when mated to receptacles.

The pull rod is provided with two inclined surfaces at locations corresponding to the notches respectively. When the pull rod is pulled out of the main body with the hooks being disengaged from the locking slots, the two inclined surfaces are moved out of the two notches respectively, so that the terminal seat can move upwardly with respect to the casing. In this way, the terminal seat can be detached there from quickly with less labor, or it can be mounted in the casing easily without additional tools. The present invention further provides a programmable logic controller having the terminal seat.
