Abstract: A system described herein may provide a technique for automatically mitigating excessive pings transmitted by a User Equipment (“UE”) through a wireless telecommunications network by instructing the UE to take remedial action and/or by modifying the UE's access to the network. A given UE transmitting excessive pings may be automatically identified based on dynamic thresholds which may vary based on factors such as network congestion, and the instructions may include instructions to shut down, restart, or send fewer pings. The access may be modified by modifying subscription information for the UE at a subscriber information repository.

Abstract: A session management method by a terminal in which a network initiates a session deactivation procedure to deactivate one or more sessions of a terminal. After the terminal in an inactive mode establishes an RRC connection to a new second base station, the second base station indicates, through RRC connection reconfiguration, the terminal to delete related information of the to-be-deactivated session, or the second base station uses an RRC connection resume response message to carry an identifier of the one or more to-be-deactivated sessions, and the terminal deletes session-related information corresponding to the identifier of the one or more to-be-deactivated sessions. In this way, the terminal is enabled to process the related information of the to-be-deactivated session in a timely manner.

The View container is painted on the display to thereby render the media content on the display. A second system broadcast is generated by the operating system is received. The second system broadcast indicates the first user interface element has been again selected. The View container is then removed from the memory, thereby terminating rendering of the media content on the display.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing context-specific support from trusted contacts are provided. A software application residing on the computing device may be associated with a trusted contact for providing remote support to the user. When such a trusted contact exists, a “Help” button is displayed on the computing device when the software application is in use. The user may select that button to cause the computing device to automatically contact the trusted contact and establish a screen sharing communication session with a computing device associated with the trusted contact.

The processor receives an indication that an event associated with a security breach took place within the sensor range at a particular time that is within a tolerance of the first time. In response, the processor determines, based at least in part on the particular time and the presence of the identifier and first time in the log, that a user of the mobile device is associated with the event. In response, the processor stores the identifier in the database to indicate that the mobile device is associated with a security threat.

In this method, the device receives from a beacon a wireless beacon signal comprising at least one beacon identifier. Responsive to a determination that the NFC application should be activated, the mobile interface device transitions the NFC application from a passive state to an active state. Abstract: In an illustrative embodiment, a user device may block all the phone numbers used by an enterprise. When an enterprise wants to call the user, the enterprise may notify the user device through a separate secure channel that an enterprise phone number is in the process of making a phone call to the user device. The secure channel may include an authentication server that may request the user device to unblock the enterprise phone number. An incoming phone call from the enterprise phone number therefore can be trusted. After the phone call is terminated, the user device may again block the enterprise phone number. An attacker may not have access to the authentication server and a phone call from the attacker with a spoofed enterprise phone number (now blocked) may be dropped by the user device.

Inappropriate content may be determined by keywords within the content, speed at which the content is entered in, facial expression of a sender who is entering in the content or the like. A sent message confirming that the content has been delivered to a receiver device may be provided to a sender device when the content has been held. This may provide a cool down period for the sender. After a period of time, the content may be provided back to the sender indicating that the content has not been sent. If approved or revised, the content may be sent to the receiver device. Otherwise, sending the content may be cancelled.
