Abstract: A prefabricated wall panel is disclosed. The panel has a first exterior facing sheet of plywood or OSB and the second interior facing sheet of plywood or OSB. Framing struts are located between the sheets to secured thereto to define a panel volume. A polymeric in-situ foam core is formed inside such panel volume. The overall panel thickness is 4 inches, plus or minus 1 quarter inch. In the finished wall assembly, thickness in combination with a sheet of drywall allows flush mounting of door jambs and window jambs, including flush mounting of trim pieces. The panel has an R value in excess of R20.

Abstract: Cell walls (16) made of wood form a plurality of cells in which a filler material 18 (e.g. foam insulation) is received. Facing members (12, 14) are glued to the sides of the core structure (10). The grain of the wood cell walls (16) extend sideways of the core (10), such that in grain is directed towards the facing members (12, 14). This construction may be used to form logs (L) used for making log cabins, beams, columns, etc. It may also be used for constructing panels used to form furniture elements, such as desks, cabinets, etc., and for making doors.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an improvement in the construction of water ride surfaces and comprises at least one layer of soft permeable material built into the padded substrate of a structurally supported ride surface. The permeable material connects to a drainage system and is preferably sandwiched between a slick skin upper waterproof membrane, and a supporting substrate beneath it. The advantage to this improvement is when water leaks through the waterproof membrane, the permeable material prevents water from building up inside the padded substrate, and allows the water to be drained out, rather than blistering and bubbling up under the waterproof membrane, thereby helping to preserve the integrity and longevity of the ride surface.
