Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preparing a curable resin, comprising a) a compound represented by Formula 1; b) glycidyl (meth)acrylate; c) acid monoanhydride; and d) a solvent, a curable resin manufactured by the composition, and an ink composition comprising the same. The curable resin has a low viscosity and excellent flow properties, and the ink composition is excellent in terms of storage stability, heat resistance and chemical resistance.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a biodegradable film for advertisement. In the present invention, films, to which the biodegradable polymer is applied as a cover layer having excellent printability with respect to various solvent inks or bio inks, are used as materials for indoor or outdoor advertisement, such as banners and flexes. Therefore, the present invention can provide environment-friendly biodegradable materials for advertisement, which do not discharge harmful substances during incineration, and can be easily decomposed on landfill treatments.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a polylactic acid resin composition. The composition includes about 25 to about 80 parts by weight of a polylactic acid resin, (B) about 20 to about 75 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin, and (C) about 0.01 to about 5 parts by weight of a chain extender including an amine group, based on about 100 parts by weight of (A)+(B). The polylactic acid resin composition of the present invention is environmentally-friendly and has excellent hydrolysis resistance and simultaneously improved mechanical strength and heat resistance, and accordingly can be used for manufacturing various molded products requiring heat resistance and mechanical strength, for example vehicles, machine parts, electronic parts, office machines, miscellaneous goods, and the like.
Abstract: Dendritic macroinitiator compositions are provided comprising a compound of the general formula, Fx-[G-n]-I, where F is the chain end functional group of the dendrimer, x is the number of chain end functional groups, G is the dendrimer, n is the generation number of the dendrimer, and I is the initiating group. Hybrid dendritic-linear copolymers made from these macroinitiator can act as highly efficient dispersing agents for a range of nanoparticles in matrix materials.

Abstract: A method of controlling a moisture resistance of polyglycolic acid resin, by controlling a total carboxyl group-source concentration including a contribution of residual glycolide. As a result, a moisture resistance governing the change of strength with time of the polyglycolic acid resin is controlled at a good accuracy.
Abstract: The invention provides methods of producing composite polymers by combining fillers with polymers in the presence of pre-formed high molecular weight polymer. Monomer polymerization can be initiated through the addition of initiators or by reactive chemical groups on the surface of the fibers. The composite materials formed possess superior mechanical properties compared to similar polymer composites made by either purely mechanical mixing or solely polymerization of monomers in the presence of the fillers.
Abstract: Provided are a capsulated colorant, a method of preparing same and ink compositions including the capsulated colorant. The capsulated colorant includes a colorant and a polymer resin coated on the colorant. The polymer resin is a result of polymerization of a polymerizable composition comprising a basic monomer and a polymerizable unsaturated monomer. The ink composition comprises the colorant coated with the polymeric resin and a solvent, which may be water and at least one organic solvent.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an antireflective coating composition for applying between a substrate surface and a positive photoresist composition. The antireflective coating composition is developable in an aqueous alkaline developer. The antireflective coating composition comprises a polymer, which comprises at least one monomer unit containing one or more moieties selected from the group consisting of a lactone, maleimide, and an N-alkyl maleimide; and at least one monomer unit containing one or more absorbing moieties. The polymer does not comprise an acid labile group. The present invention also discloses a method of forming and transferring a relief image by using the inventive antireflective coating composition in photolithography.

Abstract: The present invention provides a coating composition, and coated substrates and articles. The coating composition includes a binder containing a polyester resin that is formed using at least one aromatic, dicarboxylic acid and at least one asymmetric diol. The present invention also provides coating compositions that may be used on articles where excellent outdoor durability is desired. A method of coating and fabricating a substrate is also included.
