The weighing device has a weighing frame provided with dedicated weighing-frame feet. The table has a cutout with a peripheral edge, the weighing device being positioned in the cutout at a distance from its edge on all sides. The machine includes a flange having two ends that lie one on top of the other and a lining encircling its longitudinal axis. The flange in the region of one of its ends encloses the cutout in the machine table and is connected sealingly to the table in the region of the peripheral edge. The flange in the region of its other end encloses the weighing frame and is sealingly connected to the weighing frame.

Abstract: A method of making a blister sealing fixture which includes the selection of a card locating portion which has an annular wall which defines an annular recess closed by a removable bottom wall. Abstract: A method and capping apparatus is provided for securely seating a closure with curvilinear top surface onto a container in a manner that avoids damage from excessive force applied to the closure. The apparatus has a cap locking unit with a circulating compression belt that contacts a top surface of the closure/container as the combination is being transported from underneath by a conveyor. A dancer contacts an inner surface of the compression belt. Pressure is applied from the dancer through leading and trailing leg components that converge from a common pivot. The mounting assembly weighs considerably less than a spindle or barrel cam, and therefore, is considerably easier to reposition and adjust. There is no need to remove the barrel cam or change out the spindle, which significantly reduces costs, down-time, and manpower requirements. Abstract: A system and method for validating the crimping of a vial having a stopper and a cap are disclosed. According to one embodiment, the system comprises a crimping cylinder, a controller that validates the crimping of the cap to the vial; and an indicator for indicating whether the crimping was validated. The crimping cylinder comprises a piston; a plurality of crimping jaws interacting with the piston, the crimping jaws moving to a closed position when the piston is moved in a downward direction, and the crimping jaws moving to an open position when the piston is moved in an upward direction; a position indicator; and a position sensor. The position indicator and position sensor indicate a position of the piston.

Abstract: A packaging system, packaging method and method of depositing a thin layer of material at a desired location upon a substrate, and in particular a layer of thermally-conductive phase change material at the interface between a heat-dissipating component and heat sink coupled therewith. The packaging comprises a thin layer of material sandwiched between a first base liner and a second top liner. A segment of tape is adhesively bound to the top liner and preferably includes a graspable portion, such as a tab, to enable the same to pull the top liner away from the material to thus leave the layer of material deposited upon the substrate.
Abstract: The present invention relates to compounds, pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and methods for their use. In particular, the compounds of the invention are useful for the treatment or prevention of diseases associated with T cell proliferation such as autoimmune diseases and disorders.
