Abstract: The invention relates to a filter arrangement for cleaning an air stream having at least three filter elements, wherein each filter element has a bellows made of pleated filter medium, wherein the filter elements are arranged in series and any two adjacent filter elements are connected to one another by means of a connecting tab. According to the invention, a fold run-out of all end folds of all bellows is oriented in a particular direction, the connecting tabs are of two different embodiments and the different embodiments of the connecting tabs are arranged alternatingly when viewed in a longitudinal direction of the filter arrangement. Not only is a simple installation of the filter elements in a filter holder thus facilitated but also a defined seating of the filter elements in the filter holder is ensured.

Abstract: A system for operating and cooling a plurality of computing devices in a container-based data center is disclosed. Shipping containers are configured with air intake openings having triangular prism or trapezoidal prism shaped vents. The vents hold filters that can remove dust, debris, and moisture droplets from the incoming air. Fans draw fresh air into the container through the filters and direct the filtered air across the computing devices to cool them. The heated air is then expelled out of the container via exhaust openings on the opposite side of the container from the air intake openings.

The woven fabric screen is made of woven fabric yarns positioned angularly relative to each other. A first annular support piece is arranged at a first end face of the woven fabric screen and is fixedly connected to a rim area of the woven fabric screen. The first annular support piece has a lateral edge facing the woven fabric screen. The woven fabric screen is flowed through in radial direction. The woven fabric yarns of the woven fabric screen are positioned, at least over sections, at an angle greater than 0° and smaller than 90° relative to the facing lateral edge of the first annular support piece. A second annular support piece is connected to the second end face. A filter element and a filter device with such a water separation element are provided.

The filter housing has a housing pot, a housing cover to cover the housing pot, and a closure element for closing the filter housing. The flat air filter element is secured in the closed state of the filter housing by circumferentially clamping the sealing element between housing pot and housing cover. The circumferentially extending holding groove of the sealing element is engaged by housing pot or housing cover. The closure element of the filter housing is arranged in the region of the recess.

At least one inwardly deflected portion of the support member engages at least one portion of the filter medium to couple the support member to the filter medium. In one embodiment, the deflected portion of the support member may be deflected inward at an angle between approximately 90 degrees and approximately 180 degrees. The filter medium may be any suitable filtration material, such as fiberglass, paper, or vegetable fibers (e.g., cotton). The support member may be constructed of expanded metal, wire mesh, or a flat plate.

Abstract: A non-woven textile based filter media is produced from polyester fiber generated using recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) beverage bottles, and that non-woven textile based filter media is used to make an air filter. By controlling the diameters and lengths of the PET derived polyester fibers, a non-woven textile based filter media that exhibits a natural Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) of about 8 (without requiring electrostatic treatment) and a pressure drop of 2.9 PSI or less can be achieved. A related exemplary embodiment is an air filter fabricated entirely from recycled materials, including a recycled cardboard frame, the non-woven textile based filter media made from recycled PET derived polyester fibers, and a support structure made of recycled plastic or metal wire.
