Including Tissue Perfusion Patents (Class 600/358)
  • Patent number: 11612312
Abstract: An intubation system includes a measurement apparatus that measures physiological parameter of a subject by a measuring section, an intubation apparatus that includes an imaging section placed in a vicinity of a tip end portion of an inserting section to be inserted from a mouth of the subject toward a target site, an intubation displaying section that is disposed integrally with or separately from the intubation apparatus and is connected to the imaging section and the measuring section to display an in vivo image that is taken by the imaging section along with the physiological parameter that is measured by the measuring section, and an overall storage section that stores the in vivo image and physiological parameter that are displayed on the intubation displaying section, in an associated manner.

  • Patent number: 11593954
Abstract: In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to systems, methods, and computer readable media for data pre-processing for stereo-temporal image sequences to improve three-dimensional data reconstruction. In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to systems, methods, and computer readable media for improved correspondence refinement for image areas affected by oversaturation. In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to systems, methods, and computer readable media configured to fill missing correspondences to improve three-dimensional (3-D) reconstruction. The techniques include identifying image points without correspondences, using existing correspondences and/or other information to generate approximated correspondences, and cross-checking the approximated correspondences to determine whether the approximated correspondences should be used for the image processing.

  • Patent number: 8925549
Abstract: A breathing circuit for a tracheostomized patient provides respiratory care and pulmonary function testing. The breathing circuit includes a flow control adapter that directs an inspiratory flow of air and an expiratory flow of air. The flow control adapter includes a subject port for coupling to a tracheostomy tube, an inspiratory port for coupling to an incentive spirometer, and an expiratory port. The flow control adapter further includes an adapter body and a one-way valve. The adapter body is configured to define an inspiratory fluid flow path between the inspiratory port and the subject port and to define an expiratory fluid flow path between the subject port and the expiratory port. The one-way valve substantially prevents air that flows generally along the inspiratory fluid flow path from flowing through the expiratory port during inspiration and allows air flowing generally along the expiratory fluid flow path to flow through the expiratory port during expiration.

  • Patent number: 7215988
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a sensor for measurement of tissue perfusion. The sensor is provided with a reservoir (4) for a fluid or gaseous tracer and a tracer-permeable barrier (3), a sub-surface of which is in contact with the surrounding tissue and another sub-surface of which is in contact with a detection cavity (5) which is connected to a suitable apparatus for the measurement of tracer concentration in the detection cavity. The concentration of the tracer in the detection cavity is a measure of perfusion in the surrounding tissue. According to another embodiment of the invention it is also possible to carry out measurements of perfusion in the surface layers of the skin or of an organ.

  • Patent number: 6718055
Abstract: A medical imaging system includes an imaging device for producing temporally spaced image representations, a memory for storing the image representations, and a processor. The processor aligns the image representations by iteratively deriving a transform between progressively smaller sub-sets of pixels in temporally adjacent images until the sub-sets converge, and, applies the transform to the temporally adjacent images. The processor further sorts selected pixels in a region of interest spatially within each of the image representations for further processing by classifying pixels in the images according to a characteristic indicative of an absorption rate of the contrast agent.
