Manual Dog-controller Concentric With Bolt Manipulator Patents (Class 70/473)
  • Patent number: 8683833
Abstract: The present invention provides for a handle set for a lock with a latch, the handle set having an authentication circuit and actuator in the interior handle that allow access to authenticated transponders. The present invention also provides a device and method for transmitting a rotational movement and force in an electronic lock, wherein the transmission takes place in a coupled state and not in a decoupled state and wherein the transmission of force does not damage an actuator that requires little energy to change between the coupled and decoupled states. A coupling cartridge of an electronic lock can easily be handed. The electronic lock can be retrofitted in installed mortise locks and used with cylindrical locks. The electronic lock can include a security feature that prohibits the electronic lock from changing between the coupled and decoupled states.

  • Patent number: 7918113
Abstract: A press-buckled lock having a press buckle is used so that the operation of locking and unlocking can be performed rapidly. By pressing the buckle, the door can be locked rapidly. When the inner handle is rotated, the press buckle is separated rapidly to unlock. Other than making the operation easy, the installation of the press buckle at the inner handle of a lock will reduce the manufacturing cost and cause the operation to be easy. Thereby the cost is reduced. By pressing the press buckle, a lock can locked rapidly; when rotating the inner handle or inserting a specific key into the lock core, the press buckle will separate rapidly so as to unlock the lock; thus, the press buckle in the lock has the effect of controlling the locking and unlocking operation rapidly.

  • Patent number: 6807833
Abstract: An unlocking device for the lever handle door lock includes an inner lever, an outer lever, an inner mounting plate, an outer mounting plate, a spindle, an inner actuating rod and an outer actuating rod. The inner mounting plate and the outer mounting plate mount the inner lever and the outer lever. Each of the inner lever and the outer lever has an assembling hole so that the inner lever and the outer lever are correspondingly connected to the inner actuating rod and the outer actuating rod for separately operating a latch bolt unit. The inner actuating rod has an end capable of disengaging from that of the outer actuating rod so as to avoid driving the inner actuating rod.

  • Patent number: 6647753
Abstract: A lock with an electromechanical coupling device, which only consumes little electrical power, comprises an operating handle which constantly is in operative connection with a drive member of an electromechanical coupling device and upon recognition of an authentication code makes an operative connection with a driven member, which in turn is in constant operative connection with the operating mechanism of the lock. The drive member and the driven member of the coupling device are each spring-loaded into a rest position and can be coupled via a locking mechanism, which by means of an electromechanical transducer can be switched between a disengaged position and an engaged position.

  • Patent number: 5987947
Abstract: A manual control device includes an actuated tube which is connected to the stem member contacting against the rod movably received in the plug of the pickproof lock, an operating member securely connected to the actuating tube by receiving the boss thereof in the groove defined in the actuating tube, wherein the operating member has a rib so as to be frictionally received in the actuating tube. Both of the actuating tube and the operating member are received in the sleeve which has an L-shaped groove into which the protrusion extending from the actuating tube is movably received. The stem member pushes the rod of the pickproof lock by pushing the combination of the actuating tube and the operation member and rotating the combination to let the protrusion be securely positioned in the L-shaped groove of the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 5475996
Abstract: An electromagnetic door lock comprises generally a rectangular housing, a locking mechanism, a pair of electromagnetic components enclosed therein by a front cover and a rear cover. The front cover has a keypad and a transverse slot on an upper portion connected with an identification circuit therein. The electromagnetic component include an actuation assembly and a shift assembly, each having a movable rod opposed to each other. When a code is inputted via the keypad or the transverse slot, the identification circuit therein will transmit an electric current to the actuation assembly for and creating a magnetic field therein to disengageably force the movable rod of the shift assembly to move backward to unlock a door.

  • Patent number: 5020343
Abstract: A lockset for a door comprising a latchbolt assembly movable between a partially extended latching position, a fully extended deadbolt position and a retracted position. A spindle extends through the latchbolt assembly in a direction transverse of the direction of movement of the bolt. The spindle is connected to the bolt for moving the bolt between its positions upon rotation of the spindle. An operating assembly includes a hand operator having a locking member therein, a first plate mounted for linear movement in a direction transverse to the axis of the spindle and having a pair of ears vertically spaced about and generally aligned with the longitudinal axis of the spindle. A pivotally mounted actuator member is movable in response to the hand operator and has first and second surfaces vertically spaced about and generally aligned with the longitudinal axis of the spindle and in engagement with the pair of ears such that pivotal movement of the actuator produces linear movement of the first plate.
