In aspects, items such as files, folders, and other objects may be stored in a data store. A user may desire to form a relationship between two items that provides additional semantic information regarding the relationship. To do so, an instance of an item reference is created and populated with data that associates the item reference with a source item and optionally a target item. The item reference is part of a type hierarchy and inherits properties from ancestor types. These types are included in a payload of the item reference and may be exposed to programs that seek to obtain information about the relationship indicated by the item reference. An item reference may be added without changing other data about the referenced items.

Abstract: Embodiments herein begin by receiving user input. The embodiments herein create a fixed data file and a text string based on the user input using a process manager located within a system. The embodiments herein also supply the fixed data file and the text string from the process manager to at least one node within the system. The system comprises a plurality of such nodes. The node executes the text string to add variable data to the fixed data and create a variable information print file. More specifically, the node retrieves the variable data from a database within the system. Then, the method can print the variable information print file.

Abstract: An automated manufacturing system comprises a computer processing system and a plurality of consolidation systems. The computer processing system receives information on product subbatches and product packages and consolidation status information to produce consolidation assignment information, each product package comprising one or more product subbatches. The consolidation systems receive the product subbatches in accordance to the consolidation assignment information and consolidate the product subbatches into product packages, wherein the status of the consolidation systems are tracked and the consolidation status information is sent to the computer processing system.

Abstract: A system is provided to facilitate tag-based organization of documents. During operation, the system receives an original user query. The system extends the query to include documents with an IN-tag and exclude documents with an OUT-tag. The system then performs a search based on the extended query to indicate a collection of documents which satisfy the extended query. The system further allows a user to add a document to the collection of documents or remove a document from the collection of documents. Next, the system modifies a tagging property of the document.

Abstract: Resolution and composition of electronic document layout are provided. An intermediate text data structure may be generated to hold a “resolved” rich text state for a given document. Properties contained in the “resolved” rich text state are a composite of all relevant properties including user defined and entered properties and including properties associated with the document according to a pre-built document context. This text body resolution process then may be utilized for generating a composite text layout for the text streams associated with a plurality of document components for generating a single rich text stream for presentation to and editing by a user.

The system also includes a client communicating with the MECA module to receive the at least clustered map content data and display the at least clustered map content data. A method of map engine clustering automation is also included. In one embodiment, the method includes filtering a list of postings resulting in a first list of remaining postings. The first list is clustered so that postings that are substantially proximate are clustered resulting in clustered map points corresponding to postings which were clustered.

Next, identification data representing each invitee to the meeting is stored in the storage. Document processing operation data, corresponding to one or more document processing operations to be performed on the received document data, is also stored in the associated data storage. The stored document data is then retrieved from the data storage at an appointed time in accordance with the stored event data. At least one of the associated document processing operations is then commenced on the retrieved document data based upon the stored document processing operation data.

The system and method includes several client workstations and one or more servers coupled together over a network. A database stores various data used by the system. A business logic server uses competitive and complementary fusion to analyze and correct some of the data sources stored in database server. The data fusion process itself is an iterative one—utilizing both competitive and complementary fusion methods. In competitive fusion, two or more data sources that provide overlapping attributes are compared against each other. More accurate/reliable sources are used to correct less accurate/reliable sources. In complementary fusion, relationships modeled where data sources overlap are projected to areas of the data framework in which fewer sources exist—enhancing the accuracy/reliability of those fewer sources even in the absence of the other sources upon which the models were based.

A perceived relevance factor for the element is then determined based on probabilistic-based computations accounting for the element, which may include a description, a thumbnail and/or meta data, and the position of the element on the search results page. Thereby, for future searches and search results page generation, relevance factors may be calculated based on various factors, including the element attribute based relevant scores and the perceived relevance factor.

The apparatus includes a read module configured to access chronicle records in two datasets, an extraction module configured to extract a timestamp from each chronicle record, a generation module configured to generate a chronicle time indicator for each chronicle record based on the extracted timestamp, and a placement module configured to place the generated chronicle time indicator into the associated chronicle record. Typically, chronicle records in a first chronicle record have records with desired timestamp characteristics while chronicle records in a second dataset have chronicle records with incompatible timestamp characteristics. In some cases, the present solution provides various prefetching and/or prefreshening techniques to improve intermediary or proxy caching, such as HTTP proxy caching. In other cases, the present solution provides techniques for accelerating a protocol by improving the efficiency of obtaining and servicing data from an originating server to server to clients. In another cases, the present solution accelerates domain name resolution more quickly. As every HTTP access starts with a URL that includes a hostname that must be resolved via domain name resolution into an IP address, the present solution helps accelerate HTTP access.

Abstract: A system to generate an SQL sub-expression that implement access control rules stored in a library server. The SQL sub-expression is then merged with the SQL passed from an application program interface (API). The access control checking mechanism is implemented on the server side of the content management system. In this client/server environment, the query SQL statement is built in two layers: the API (client) layer and the server layer. The API sends the query string to the underlying stored procedure. The stored procedure then generates the access control logic based on the configuration parameters of the library server. This access control logic is dynamically added to the query string sent by the API. The stored procedure prepares, builds and executes this new query string as a dynamic SQL statement.
