Abstract: An improved long box package for prerecorded media includes an elongated substantially rectangular box enclosure having a front wall, a rear wall, and a pair of first and second side walls. The box enclosure further includes an open top end, a bottom end adapted to be closed, and an interior shelf disposed between the top end and the bottom end for supporting the bottom end of a media case to be carried by the package. An opening is formed in the front wall that is contiguous with the open top end and which extends toward the shelf. In combination, the open top end and the contiguous front wall opening define an open channel for receiving the media case. The open channel facilitates rapid placement of the media case in the package by virtue of the media case not being restricted to insertion through the top end only.

Abstract: A slide opening/closing device that includes a housing; an opening formed in the housing; a lid with a protrusion, the lid being configured to cover the opening; a sliding member having an abutting claw, and a sliding-movement restricting member. The sliding member is mounted on the housing proximal to the opening and at least partially covering the lid and opening when sliding in one moving direction. The sliding-movement restricting member includes an abutting portion and is made of an elastic material. The abutting portion is configured to abut the abutting claw of the sliding member when the lid is detached from covering the opening, and the abutting portion is configured to be displaced from a path of the abutting claw that is in the one moving direction when the lid is attached to the housing to cover the opening.

A group of components marked in this way, a corresponding container for carrying out the method, and a rolling bearing, which is a possible component to be marked in this way, are also disclosed. Additional active electronics and batteries may also be positioned in the hinge such that the case can be operationally linked with the device contained in the case. This improvement adds significant convenience of loading RFID tags and enhances overall reliability of handling and applying the RFID tags. Accordingly, the present invention includes methods and devices that enable application and distribution of RFID tags in pre-loaded cartridges that are ready-to-use.
