Abstract: A power transmission unit having an input section and an output section and a hydraulic clutch which depends on the rotational speed difference, in which unit a hydrostatic displacement machine (20) generates a pressure on the occurrence of a rotational speed difference between the input section (1; 6) and the output section (6; 1), which pressure causes a reduction in the rotational speed difference. The displacement machine consists of parts (21, 22) respectively drive-connected to the input section and the output section and one of the sections (1; 6) forms a housing (4) containing the displacement machine, the displacement machine drawing in working fluid from a suction space.

Abstract: Apparatus includes a pneumatic conveyor for supporting the articles to be conveyed and air under pressure in the conveyor to convey the articles, wherein the conveyor includes a first elongated channel with a first hollow interior volume, a second elongated channel communicating with the first elongated channel and having a second hollow interior volume, with the communication between the first and second elongated channels including openings in the second elongated channel to permit the flow of air under pressure from the first elongated channel to the second elongated channel. Control is provided to control the amount of air flowing through the openings responsive to the density of the population of articles along the conveyor.
Abstract: A transgenic mouse whose genome comprises the H/K-ras 4B chimeric gene to form a mammary tumor and, particularly, the expression vector producing H/K-Ras 4B chimeric protein by using MMTV (mouse mammary tumor virus) promoter. This protein contains the first 164 amino acids of the H-Ras followed by the last 24 amino acids of K-Ras 4B. The second, it relates to the transgenic mouse expressing the H/K-Ras 4B protein with a mammary tumor, and the third, the method of preparation.

Abstract: A method for optimizing production from a gas lift well includes the steps of: obtaining a statistical model of production behavior of a gas lift well, the production behavior including known patterns of at least one production characteristic and corresponding operating parameters; operating the gas lift well at initial operating parameters; obtaining a real time value of the production characteristic from the gas lift well at the initial operating parameters; comparing the real time value of the production characteristic to the model to determine whether a known pattern is detected; and if a known pattern is detected, adjusting the operating parameters to the corresponding operating parameters. An apparatus is also provided.
Abstract: A method of producing and stacking components from individual layers which are punched, cut or the like out of a hardened material strip. According to the method, layers are removed from a hardened material strip, the removed layers are pressed back into the material strip and pressed out of the latter in a subsequent station (ii). They are then inserted into a stack magazine in which the individual layers are centered and assembled to form a component, the component then being removed from the stack magazine.
