Abstract: The invention relates to a first gypsum-based composite article reinforced with glass fibers. This first article has a first member made of a hard gypsum, a second member made of a soft gypsum, and a mat made of the glass fibers. The mat is embedded in the article in a manner that the first and second members are bonded together by means of the mat. This first article is superior in resistance to external force acting thereon and to severe environmental conditions, even if the gypsumbased article is light in weight and thin in thickness. The invention further relates to a second gypsum-based composite article having a base plate, a glass fiber mat bonded to the base plate, and a gypsum layer formed on the glass fiber mat such that glass fibers of the glass fiber mat are embedded in the gypsum layer. Abstract: A color coated article is formed by applying a color coated material to an injection mold having mold halves, a mold cavity edge and a mold cavity therein for the formation of an injection molded article, and injecting molten plastic into the mold cavity to form a laminated article with the color coated material bonded to the injected plastic. The process uses a color coated blank having a roughened surface, said blank adapted to be placed into at least one mold half and transferring the blank into registry with at least one of the mold halves. The molten plastic is injected against the roughened surface of the blank to enhance bonding of the blank to the injected plastic.

In preferred embodiments, the reduction catalyst (14) has a basic honeycomb structure with wide gas-circulation channels (66) and/or the honeycombs are screened off upstream by at least one screen. Gaseous pollutants removed by the system are, in particular, NO.sub.x, CO and hydrocarbons.
Abstract: In a dispensing device for a fluid container of flexible material in an outer container which encloses it and which is substantially stable in respect of shape and through which the dispensing device extends, a tube connection of the dispensing device is fluid-tightly and gas-tightly connected to the wall of the fluid container in the region of a wall opening, by a flange collar formed on the tubular portion. Associated with the tube connection is a separate closure body which in the closure position closes the cross-section of the tube space and which is to be releasably fixed to the free tube mouth end of a connection tube which can be axially introduced into the tube space. The closure body can be transferred with the connection tube out of the closure position into an open position in which the closure body at the tube mouth end and at least one radial opening through the tube wall of the tube mouth end are arranged in the fluid container.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a carrier assembly for supporting the mold center section of a stack mold. The carrier assembly has a pair of mold supports to which the mold center section can be attached. Each mold support is movable along a linear rail attached to the base of a molding machine and has at least one block containing a linear bearing mounted thereto for engaging the linear rail. Each mold support further includes a linkage assembly for connecting the mold support to other platens so as to synchronize movement of each mold support with movement of at least one other platen.
