Abstract: A removable gripping device for a container has two clamp-forming members which are mounted to a gripping body, one of which can move longitudinally between an open position and a closed position; movement elements which are designed to move the aforementioned mobile member; and actuation devices which can move in relation to the gripping body. The above-mentioned actuation devices are mounted so as to move longitudinally between a rest position and an actuation position, whereby the actuation devices cause a lever to move from the retracted position to the deployed position thereof.

Abstract: A two-stage high pressure turbine includes a first stage vane having an airfoil with a profile substantially in accordance with at least an intermediate portion of the Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth in Table 2. Abstract: A method for damage limitation in the event of an offset frontal collision between two motor vehicles, with a first signal which signals an imminent collision triggering the steerable front wheels (9, 10) to turn inward in opposite directions, is to minimize the impact-induced yaw moment. To this end, the steerable wheels are moved back to the initial position again after the collision or if the collision has not taken place at all. To this end, two actuators (17?, 17?) with an external power source are provided in the case of a vehicle which is equipped for this purpose, with each actuator being associated with a steerable wheel (9, 10).

Abstract: The electrical discharge machining device comprises a first voltage/current source (U1) for discharge initiation connected to the tool electrode (F) and a workpiece electrode (P) forming the poles of a machining gap (G) and a second voltage/current source (U2) that can be disconnected by way of two switches (SW1, SW2). Capacitive elements (C1, C5) are mounted in series in the lines (10, 11) connecting the first source to the poles of the machining gap (G). In addition, these poles can be connected by a self-induction coil (Lm) mounted in series with an adjustable DC source (Sm). Thanks to these features, the energy of the eroding discharges can be significantly reduced in order to obtain a superfine surface finishing process of high quality, while at the same time precisely controlling the mean voltage across the terminals of the machining gap.

Abstract: A semiconductor device is provided which comprises a heat-radiative support plate 5; and first and second semiconductor elements 1 and 2 mounted and layered on support plate 5 for alternate switching of first and second semiconductor elements 1 and 2. Abstract: Disclosed herein are a pixel circuit and driving method for active matrix Organic Light-emitting Diodes (OLEDs), and a display using the same. The pixel circuit includes a Voltage Control Current Source (VCCS), a high gain amplifier, a storage capacitor, and first and second switches. The VCCS is configured to drive OLEDs. The high gain amplifier is configured such that the control input signal of the VCCS causes the VCCS to be placed in an ON or OFF state. The storage capacitor is located between the input terminal of the high gain amplifier and a data line so as to assign the ON-time of the VCCS. The first and second switches are configured to be controlled through a scan line so as to store voltage in the storage capacitor and control the light-emitting time of the OLEDs, and are formed the input terminal of the high gain amplifier and the input terminal of the VCCS, respectively.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of colored diamond and, more particularly, to a manufacturing method of colored diamond by ion implantation and heat treatment. The manufacturing method comprises a first step of implanting ions to the surface of diamond by accelerating the ions under vacuum, and a second step of heat-treating the implanted diamond. By implanting ions inducing the change in the optical band gap of a diamond, the manufacturing method provides a colored diamond with relatively lower cost compared to a metal ion implantation in the prior art, and a uniform color is obtained by heat treatment. Additionally, the manufacturing method of the present invention provides a diamond having various colors with permanent color development effects, by controlling the condition of ion implantation and heat treatment.

The optical module 1 has a holder 2 and an aspherical lens 11, which are formed of a plastic so as to be integrated with each other. The photoelectric transfer element package 3 has a flange portion 15 which butts the open end face 16 of the cylindrical portion 8. Abstract: Known variable flow pumps (VF pumps) are characterized by significant inaccuracies in the delivery quantities. In addition, they cause cosmetic problems in the carrier after implantation as a result of their external configuration. Abstract: An apparatus and method for measuring a position of a moveable platform comprising a plurality of RFID tags encoded with location information situated at known locations and a plurality of visual markers situated at precise, known locations. An RF reader attached to a moveable platform reads the RFID tags to determine the approximate location of the platform. A camera apparatus attached to the moveable platform scans the visual marker. The scanned image is processed to provide the precise position information of the platform.
