Abstract: The invention relates to a measuring cell, comprising a support and a sensor, whereby a measuring chamber is arranged between the support and the sensor and the sensor is arranged on the support by means of individual material deposits provided between the support and the sensor. Said material deposits are preferably gold bumps.
Abstract: A method for joining an initial section (3) of a film tube (2) which is wound up in a band-like manner on a reel (1) with an end section (4) of a second film tube (5) extending over subsequent processing stations, especially a packaging system, in an at least partly band-like manner, with the band-like initial and end section (3, 4) each having two mutually superimposed outer lateral surfaces (10, 11, 15, 16) which each converge in their boundary regions into two interposed, inwardly folded inner lateral surfaces (17, 18, 19, 20) which thus form an inwardly situated fold axis (S, T). It is provided for in accordance with the invention that in the two outer boundary regions of the initial or end section (3, 4) a tab (7, 27) each is formed by placing a cut, which tab is joined in a tension-proof manner with the opposite section (3, 4), with the initial section (3) overlapping the end section (4).
Abstract: The invention relates to an ultrasonic sensor with an adjustable detection range for use in gaseous media, preferably air. A threshold value generator generates threshold value curves that are fed to a comparator. The change in the detection range of the ultrasonic sensor, namely, the change in its switching point curve, is carried out by influencing the threshold value curves, whereby, in a selectable manner, the detection range can be adjusted either exclusively in the lateral extension of the sonic cone or else in the axial and lateral extensions of the sonic cone.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of a solid fragrance concentrate, by absorption of a liquid fragrance or fragrance mixture in a solid or solid mixture, using one or several surfactants and/or co-surfactants, solid at normal temperatures as solid or solid mixture, whereby the liquid fragrance or fragrance mixture is dissolved in the above at a temperature above the solidification temperature of the solid or solid mixture and the solution subsequently solidified by cooling. The solid or solid mixture comprises fatty alcohol(s) or a mixture of fatty alcohol(s) and fatty acid(s) and/or fatty alcohol ethoxylate and/or polyethylene glycol.

Abstract: An insert for a cylinder sleeve or a cylinder of an internal combustion engine is provided for narrowing the diameter of the cylinder sleeve or cylinder in the region of the upper dead center of a piston guided in the cylinder sleeve or cylinder. The insert is formed as an open, biased ring having a ring joint, which ring is held radially by means of its radial forces, which act outward, and axially by a recess in the cylinder sleeve or cylinder, in such a manner that the radial surface pressure is approximately the same on the circumference, whereby its ratio of ring wall thickness (d) to inside diameter (D) of the cylinder sleeve or the cylinder amounts to between 0.001 and 0.02.
Abstract: A coupling, particularly a pipe coupling for high-pressure pipes or high-pressure hoses, is equipped with coupling pieces provided at the ends to be connected, in each instance, and with a cuff that couples the coupling pieces, using at least two shear elements. The coupling pieces engage over the cuff that lies on the inside, as an extension of the ends, with almost the same diameter.
Abstract: An assembly for securing to a shelf having products disposed thereon and connection points spaced apart by a fixed distance includes an adjustable product display partition and a biasing device for biasing a row of products toward a front of the shelf. Abstract: The invention relates to a docking buffer for attaching to ramps, comprising an elastic damping element (3) that is situated between two U-shaped sections (1; 2) consisting of a hard, shock-proof material. The limbs (4; 5) and (6; 7) of said sections are adjacent to one another and can be displaced in relation to one another, the limbs (4; 5) of one U-shaped section (2) converging at an angle ? that deviates from 90° in relation to a base surface (9) and the limbs (6; 7) of the other U-shaped section (1) diverging at an angle ? that deviates from 90° in relation to a base plate (8). The opening widths between the ends of the limbs (4; 5) and (6; 7) and the sizes of the angles ?; ? are selected in such a way that the limbs (4; 5) embrace the limbs (6; 7). The advantage of the invention is that it provides a docking buffer with a simple construction that is thus cost-effective to produce, said buffer affording reliable protection even during an off-center collision.
