Abstract: A fuel filter of an internal combustion engine has a filter housing in which water separated from the fuel may collect within the filter so as to permit collection of the largest possible quantity of separated water in the smallest possible overall volume. This fuel filter has a liquid line which leads out of an area of the filter housing that is exposed to fuel and in which separated water can settle out due to gravity into a water collecting chamber situated outside the filter housing. There is also an upper area of the water collecting chamber which is connected by a connecting line mounted there to a fuel delivery line of the internal combustion engine.

Abstract: A device for protecting an electrode during the resistance welding of workpieces, particularly of metal sheets, is made of a strip that is placed over the electrode, in a manner that enables it to be displaced in relation thereto. In order to reduce the wearing of the electrode, the strip is formed from at least two metal strips, which are arranged one atop the other and which are made of different materials. The materials of the metal strips are preferably matched to the material of the electrode and to the material of the workpiece, particularly the metal sheet, with regard to predetermined properties. A spot-welding tool is provided for carrying out the resistance welding of workpieces, particularly of metal sheets, having at least one electrode. A resistance welding method welds two workpieces, particularly metal sheets to one another by spot-welding tools.

Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-pole plug-in connector (10) having contact elements (16) which comprise a flat plug-in area (30) that transitions to a flat conduction area (18) the wide side (50) of which lies in a contact column plane (14). The wide side (31) of the flat plug-in area (30) is rotated by a predefined angle (70) relative to the wide side (50) of the flat conduction area (18). The plug-in connector (10) according to the invention is especially suited for making plug-in connections for transmission of high-frequency signals, especially in high-frequency digital signal transmission, where the data transfer rate may be over 10 GBit/s.
Abstract: A method for the production of a fleece laminate material that has elastic regions and non-elastic regions. In the method, parallel strips of elastic laminate are laminated in between two webs of nonwoven material, at a distance from one another and the nonwoven webs are directly bonded to one another, in the regions between the strips, and form non-elastic regions. The segments of the fleece laminate material that contain a strip, in each instance, form elastic regions. According to the invention, the elastic laminate has a tacky elastomer core layer and at least one non-blocking outer layer of nonwoven material, applied to the tacky core layer.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an adjustable camshaft (1) in which an inside shaft (4) is rotatably mounted with respect to an outside shaft (2). To create a relative rotational movement between the two shafts (2, 4), a hydraulic regulating device (3) is provided at one end of the camshaft (1) and a chain/belt wheel (7) that is connected to a drive, in particular to a crankshaft, via a chain or a belt is also provided. It is essential to the invention here that the chain/belt wheel (7) is designed so that it is rotatable in relation to the regulating device (3) for aligning the camshaft (1) with respect to the drive, and after successful alignment, it is connectable in a rotationally fixed manner to either the inside shaft (4) or to the outside shaft (2).
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring hydrodynamic parameters, especially for Augmentation Index (Aix) and/or Ejection Duration (ED), by non-invasive, cuff based occlusive, blood pressure measurement, which apparatus comprises occlusive, oscillometric automatic blood pressure meter and units. There can also be a method for non-invasive measurement of hemodynamic characteristics, especially AN and/or ED with an occlusive, pressure sensor cuff, placed on the brachial artery, wherein the apparatus according to the invention samples and analyzes and evaluates the signal flow of the oscillations of pulse waves using an unusual stepwise blood pressure measurement.
Abstract: The invention relates to a self-inking hand stamp (1) comprising a housing (2) and an actuating arc (3) that can be displaced in relation to the housing and in which a stamp type part with axial parts (10, 11) is mounted, said axial parts protruding through slit-type openings (25) in lateral walls (8, 9) of the housing (2). At least one of said axial parts is held in a recess (26, 27) in one of the lateral parts (12, 13) of the actuating arc (3) by means of a separately produced fixing element. The fixing element can be introduced into the recess (26, 27), and locked therein, in such a way that the axis thereof is parallel to the axis of the recess, said fixing element comprising at least one locking element (29, 30; 35) that co-operates with a corresponding locking element (31; 37, 38) on the lateral side (12, 13) of the actuating arc (3).

Abstract: In a connector for being connected to a plurality of wires, a plurality of contacts are held by a housing and arranged in parallel in a first direction. The contacts have connecting portions to be connected to the wires. The connector includes an aligning member for aligning and holding the wires. The aligning member defines a plurality of through holes arranged in parallel in the first direction and extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The through holes allow the connecting portions to be inserted therethrough. The aligning member includes a comb-like portion formed at one end in a third direction perpendicular to the first and the second directions and adapted to hold the wires, and a plurality of positioning portions formed at the other end in the third direction and arranged in parallel in the first direction. The positioning portions are for positioning the wires.

Abstract: A position transmitter for determining a position of a rotating shaft, has an AMR sensor unit or a GMR sensor unit which, for determining the position, has only one magnet disposed on a shaft to be monitored, whereby the position transmitter can be used as a single-turn and a multi-turn unit. Furthermore, a method for determining a position of a rotating shaft with the position transmitter is also provided. In accordance with the method, signals are produced using a diametrically magnetized magnet in a sensor unit, so that sine and cosine signals are obtained as output signals of the AMR sensor unit, the sine and cosine signals are digitalized, and these signals are processed by a microcontroller, with regard to the detection and evaluation of the angle of rotation, for detecting, filtering, and evaluating the number of revolutions, for detection of the direction of rotation or for data transmission of the angle of rotation and the number of revolutions to an overriding control.
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembled piston (1) for an internal combustion engine, said piston consisting of an upper part (4) and a lower part (5) that are interconnected by means of an internal hexagon screw (6) consisting of an upper half(37) and a lower half (38). The upper half (37) of the internal hexagon screw (6) comprises an external thread (39) which is parallel to the external thread (40) of the lower screw half (38) and has a larger lead angle than the same (40). The lead angle resulting from the difference between the lead angles of the two external threads (39, 40) is very small and contributes to a high strength of the screw connection.
