  • Patent number: 6095279
Abstract: A loudspeaker system including at least one enclosure incorporating a wave guide having a curved input slot through which sound waves generated from an acoustic transducer are introduced by way of an acoustic chamber and wherein the curvature of the slot and the orientation of opposite side walls of the enclosure are such that sound ways propagated within the wave guide exit the wave guide in a geometric configuration of a segment of a torus and so that sound waves from side-by-side enclosures form a common non-interfering wavefront.

  • Patent number: 6082836
Abstract: A compact disc case of the type that is in general use, having a lid hinged to its tray, as well as cab storage unit therefore. The compact disc case has a gripper strip located rearwardly of the hinge axis; and a resilient latch for unlocking the lid from the tray. There is also a resilient members which urges the lid to an open position and moves the lid to the open position upon release of the resilient latch. The compact disc casing cabinet works in combination with the compact disc case. The compact disc casing cabinet also has a releasable latch such that when the releasable latch is released the compact disc casing is moved forwardly by a resilient element with respect to the slot to permit opening of the casing without its removal from the slot.
