    Abstract: The vibration damper has a sleevelike shaped part comprising an elastomer as a diaphragm. The shaped part is received tightly on the opening end of a bore of a housing and surrounds an extension of a support body disposed in the bore. Provided on a side face of the extension is a groove, which communicates with a chamber in the extension. The shaped part, which on its outside is exposed to the brake fluid, with the inside of its jacket wall defines a hollow chamber, formed toward the extension of the support body and having atmospheric pressure. The vibration damper can be used in a slip-controlled hydraulic brake systems of motor vehicles.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a braking apparatus having an electric service motor, which serves to actuate a brake via an actuating device. To enable adjusting an air clearance, the invention sets forth a helical gear and a load moment block, which blocks the helical gear against adjusting itself independently and allows adjustment by means of a readjusting motor. To adjust or establish the air clearance, the brake is actuated with the readjusting motor, until a brake lining contacts a brake body, such as a brake disk, and then moves backward by a defined distance. If the service motor and/or the actuating device fails, the braking apparatus can be released with the readjusting motor. In order to achieve a parking brake function, the invention sets forth a second load moment block for the actuating device.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a quantity control valve for a fuel injection system, used in internal combustion engines, with a longitudinal slide that is movable in a valve housing between a restoring spring chamber and a control chamber and that allocates the fuel, flowing in from at least one low-pressure pump, to at least one high-pressure pump. For driving the longitudinal slide, the inflowing fuel in the control chamber is delivered past the longitudinal slide via a throttle or baffle valve. In the closing position, firstly, a cylindrical guide region of the longitudinal slide bounded on both sides by annular grooves blocks off an inlet bore. The guide region is wider than the diameter of the inlet bore. Secondly, it covers an outlet bore except for a partial intersection with the relieved annular groove shifted into the return in the opening direction of the longitudinal slide.

To reliably prevent dirt particles from passing through the filter body, the lower collar extends past the axially closed end of the longitudinal grooves of the first group.

The anti-lock arrangement has at least one return pump per brake circuit. The anti-lock arrangement is equipped with a total of four electrically controllable valves. In each of the brake circuits I, II there is one first valve between the master cylinder and a front wheel brake and one second valve between the master cylinder and the rear wheel brake. All the valves are embodied as normally open valves and are electrically closable. Inlets of each of the return pumps communicate directly with the respective front wheel brakes and indirectly with the rear wheel brakes through throttles. Check valves that open toward the inlets of the return pumps are provided in series with the throttles.

To achieve a desired characteristic curve of the pedal when the service brake is actuated, a path simulator is provided in a master cylinder. The pressure chamber is defined by a floating piston with a seat valve, which controls a pressure fluid-carrying connection of the pressure chamber to a pressure fluid reservoir of the master cylinder. The function of the seat valve is dependent on the stroke of a rod piston, which can displace pressure fluid from a first pressure chamber when the auxiliary brake is actuated. The path simulator is active if pressure fluid is not displaced from the first pressure chamber during the actuation of the service brake and therefore the seat valve assumes its open position.
