    Abstract: A method of forming piping at an end of a knitted fabric for a knitted garment by using a flat knitting machine. At a point at which piping is to begin loops which compose the knitted fabric are held on the front or rear needles and the other needles are held empty and elastic yarn is hooked by specified front and rear needles. The piping fabric part is knitted only by the knitting needles on one side or by both the knitting needles on one side and the empty needles on the other side. The loops at the end of this piping fabric part and the previously hooked elastic yarn are joined together to form the piping and then the loops of the joined part are released from the knitting needles using the elastic yarn.

The reciprocating motion of the valve member is limited in controlled fashion by shortening the length of the actuator.

    Abstract: A sign face frame structure for universal mounting on generally a vertically extending support. The body of the sign face frame is simple to manufacture and is formed of extruded aluminum bar stock in a manner to have a rigid mounting flange or leg surrounding the sides and bottom of the perimeter of the face frame, the flange being also provided for attaching the sign to the support. The sign face frame includes a semi-circular member to interfit with a receiver of various mounting designs. This semi-circular receiver may be incorporated into a sign base frame embodiment as an appendage or it may be provided as an independent part to be attached to a sign frame or building for the installation purposes of a sign face. The semi-circular receiver is designed for supporting the full weight of the face frame during installation until such time that sides and bottom mounting flanges or legs are attached or mechanically fastened to add relief to the weight bearing or attachment bond of the assembly.

This makes it unnecessary to open electromagnet valves, which are closed when without current and are present in the brake circuits I and II, electrically. The grasping device is disposed on a transverse seam jaw housing, which for its part can be moved along the feed path of the tube.     Abstract: A method and an apparatus for skinning and trimming a product to be treated, in which the product to be treated is delivered on a delivery device to a cutting unit. The cutting unit is embodied as a cutting blade and is associated with a traction roller. A linear rotary device is received by a retaining device and is disposed adjacent the cutting unit. In an operating position, the rotary device engages the product to be treated and sets it into rotation, to enable skinning in the circumferential direction of the product to be treated. After the skinning operation, either the rotary device is transferred to a discharge position and the product to be treated is removed from the apparatus via a discharge device or the delivery device is retracted so that the product being treated can drop downward. Another option for discharge of the product for treatment after the skinning operation is for the product being treated to be removed from the processing position laterally by an arm.

    Abstract: A vehicle hydraulic brake system having an anti-lock protection device and an automatic braking system, particularly when driving around bends. During automatic braking, an auxiliary pressure source supplies a pressure instead of the main brake cylinder and this pressure can be individually set by pressure reduction in the wheel brakes by means of the anti-lock protection device. For this purpose, cylinders with separating pistons are located between the auxiliary pressure source and the anti-lock protection device. The auxiliary pressure source supplies substantially lower auxiliary pressures than known systems by supplying pressure to the inlets of feed-back pumps by arranging valves which permit temporary pressure increases to the extent necessary for automatic braking by means of these feed-back pumps. The system requires less energy and less noise is caused in automatic braking operations.

In order to minimize any deflection of the injection stream flowing out of the injection port relative to the alignment of the injection port, the port is divided into at least two parallel conduits, which are separated from each other by a dividing wall and which upon the opening stroke of the valve needle are unblocked one after the other by the control edge.

Additional pressure storage chambers are inserted in the individual high pressure lines as well, between these control valves and the high pressure accumulation chamber. In order to prevent the high system pressure from continually contacting the injection valves, the control valve is embodied so that during the injection pauses, it closes the communication between the injection valve and the pressure storage chamber and opens a communication between the injection valve and a relief chamber.

The upper layer of each supporting element and the bottom layer of each guiding element are made of a friction material, either low friction material to facilitate movement therealong or high friction material to enhance friction.

The solenoid valve has a seat valve with the valve seat, valve element and restoring spring, which holds the seat valve in an open position. To achieve a structurally simple valve design with the advantage of simple and accurate setting and adjustment and also of simplified forward assembly of the solenoid valve, the valve tappet is subdivided into first and second tappet elements which are coaxial to each other and relatively displaceable, of which the first tappet element bears the valve element and the second tappet element can be driven by the electromagnet.
