If the stepping motor should fail in the idling position, emergency operation is possible by overpressing the drag lever.

    Abstract: A device for injecting a fuel-gas mixture having a cup-shaped gas enveloping sleeve in which the cylindrical part of the gas enveloping sleeve permits exact centering of the gas enveloping sleeve relative to the fuel injection valve. The novel device while having very exact centering of the gas enveloping sleeve relative to the fuel injection valve has the advantage of a simple, economical manufacture. The device includes radially inwardly pointing guide strips that rest with their face ends on the circumference of the fuel injection valve and thus in a simple way center the gas enveloping sleeve relative to the fuel injection valve. The device for injecting a fuel-gas mixture is especially well-suited for injection of a fuel gas mixture into the intake tube of a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine with externally supplied ignition.

    Abstract: A pressure limiting valve has a valve closing member (ball), which is subjected to a hydraulic opening force and is indirectly subjected to a closing force generated by a compression spring which avoids hysteresis that impairs the switching behavior of the pressure limiting valve. A tappet, which passes through a sealing ring and is exposed to a control pressure, is also capable of acting in a closing manner upon the pressure limiting valve. When there is no operative control pressure, the tappet is pushed back by the opening of the pressure limiting valve and is retained in this position by frictional forces brought about by a sealing ring. The switching plays of the pressure limiting valve are free of frictional forces. The pressure limiting valve is suitable for use in hydraulic motor vehicle brake systems.

The closure is effected as a function of rpm and accordingly pressure, and also as a function of the engine operating temperature; in the fuel injection pump according to the invention, the rpm- and pressure-dependent diversion is performed by the adjusting piston of an injection adjuster. Thus, compared with the known cold-starting accelerating devices, one additional pressure limiting valve can be eliminated.
