    Abstract: A pressure fluid reservoir is made from two housing components, that are brought together with an outer and inner thread arrangement with end stops formed by adjacent ends of the two housing components. The first housing component of the pressure fluid reservoir includes two segments and the second housing component includes two guide faces with an inner thread and an outer thread located between them. The guide faces are disposed with such a length and such a spacing with respect to one another that prior to the threads being screwed together during assembly, the threads are sealed off from the reservoir chambers and two stop faces facing one another on the housing components come into contact on their ends once the screwing operation is completed. The ends are exposed to the outside so that the contact between the ends can be seen from the outside.

    Abstract: A pressure regulating apparatus which serves to regulate fuel pressure in a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines. The pressure regulating apparatus includes a pressure regulating valve, which has a valve diaphragm fastened in a valve housing and defining a fuel chamber, which communicates via an inlet conduit with a fuel distributor line. Protruding into the fuel chamber is a valve seat carrier body having a valve seat body, on which a valve seat is embodied, from which an outlet conduit leads to an outlet fitting. The pressure regulating valve is inserted into a holder bushing communicating with the fuel distributor line and is sealed off therefrom by a sealing ring disposed on the regulating valve. The axial fixation of the pressure regulating valve in the holder bushing is effected via a screw connection with a retaining body.

    Abstract: A hydraulic brake booster is proposed, in which a coupling is provided between a control valve and a booster piston. The coupling engages the control valve at a slide sheath and upon the movement of the booster piston causes it to move as well, in such a manner that tracking control is provided. A pedal push rod in this manner always keeps a certain distance from the booster piston; that is, it does not touch it. However, if the auxiliary force should fail, then the pedal push rod does touch the booster piston, and its force is transmitted mechanically.

    Abstract: A brake system having a master brake cylinder with at least one piston in a stepped bore in which the piston is acted upon at one end by a piston rod and on the other end defines a pressure chamber, from which an outlet or a brake line leads to wheel brake cylinders of at least one brake circuit. The pressure chamber, or the brake line discharging from this pressure chamber communicates on the one hand with a compensation chamber and on the other with an annular chamber, the volumes of both these chambers being variable contrarily by movement of the piston. The connection between the pressure chamber and the compensation chamber is interrupted by a valve, and a connection is then established with a fluid reservoir. A suitable amount of fluid can then be transported from this fluid reservoir into the compensation chamber by means of a return pump.

At least one radial opening is provided between the end of the burner tube and an end of the flame to allow exhaust gas recirculation via a ribbed ring secured between the burner tube and the flame tube upstream of the radial opening but downstream of the gas nozzles and airflow openings. The ribbed ring includes ribs protruding radially inward crosswise to the longitudinal axis of the burner head. The burner head allows for a substantial reduction in NOx, to a level on the order of less than 50 ppm.

If the pressure fails, the master brake piston is mechanically actuated via the emergency brake piston. To attain a simple structure with a feedback-free brake pedal during anti-skid control, the emergency brake piston and the master brake piston are accommodated in a continuous housing bore such that the emergency brake piston forms the second defining wall for the first brake chamber, and the master brake piston rests with force on the emergency brake piston. A device for restoring the emergency brake piston upon the onset of the anti-skid control assure free mobility of the master brake piston.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a rotationally-symmetrical, hollow-cylindrical housing having two magnetizable housing parts arranged to straddle a non-magnetic housing zone thereby isolating the housing parts magnetically. The housing is prefabricated, for the sake of simplified, more-economical manufacture, in one piece from a magnetizable blank except for an excess dimension in the outer diameter (d), and an annular groove which is cut into the inner wall of the housing to the width of the desired housing zone. With the housing rotating, a non-magnetizable filling material is introduced into the annular groove, the vicinity of the annular groove being heated during this process, and the rotation of the housing is continued until the filling material has set. Then the housing is turned down on the outside until the final dimension of the outer diameter (d) is attained and at which time there is then no further connection between the magnetizable parts.

    Abstract: In control motors having an armature rotatable counter to a spiral spring, a problem arises that the set force of the spiral spring can be changed by the process of installation. The disclosed control motor is intended to enable setting of the force of the spiral spring after installation. To enable setting of the force of the spiral spring after installation, relative to which an armature of a control motor is rotatable, a shaft on which the armature is supported is screwed with a screw end into a threaded bore of a housing bottom end. Connected to the shaft is an adjusting element, which with a driver arm engages an end portion provided on the outer end of the spiral spring. By rotating the ends of the shaft, which are accessible from outside, the force of the spiral spring can be changed. The invention is preferably applicable to idling adjusters, but it is not limited to this field of application.

    Abstract: In known air flow rate meters, the initial tension of a spiral spring, which generates the restoring force on the baffle valve, is adjusted by the snapping of a locking spring into gaps between the teeth of a tooth ring provided on the spring housing. However, the tooth spacing cannot be made arbitrarily small. Accordingly, a way to enable finer adjustment of the initial tension is needed, so that a measurement can be made even at low idling speeds and with a small aspirated air quantity. In the air flow rate member according to the invention, the locking spring engages a detent element, which facing the toothed ring has an inside serration, the spacing of the teeth of which is less than the spacing of the toothed ring; when the spring housing rotates, detent increments that correspond to the spacing of the inside serration are attainable. Quite generally, the embodiment according to the invention enables sensitive adjustment and locking of a spiral spring serving as a restoring force.
