Abstract: A removable adaptor for a power-operated rotary implement, comprises a circularly vibrating lower plate. When a blade is attached to this plate, an efficient scraper is provided for removal of adhered materials, such as old under-carpets. Past scrapers relying on longitudinal reciprocal motion have suffered from underpowering and jamming. These problems are avoided by the present invention.

Abstract: A dual-circuit brake system for utility vehicles is disclosed which enables simultaneous anti-skid regulation in two brake circuits (I, II). To this end, the brake cylinders of the axle of the first brake circuit (I) that is equipped with sensors is monitored directly by pressure control valves and dependent thereon the brake cylinders of the second brake circuit (II) are monitored via relay valves. The circuits are secured from one another via a pressure control lock valve.
Abstract: A motion-damping apparatus is proposed which has a shock absorber disposed between a vehicle axle and a vehicle body. A piston that is supported on the vehicle body via a piston rod is movably supported in an inner jacket tube of the shock absorber. The piston divides work chambers filled with an electrorheological fluid as a damping fluid. The work chambers communicate with one another via an overflow cross section, the size of which is defined by a control slide the position of which is determined by an axially movable sheath. The sheath forms a first electrode, while the walls of an annular conduit receiving the sheath form a second electrode. The intensity of an electrostatic field that can be developed between the electrodes has an influence on the magnitude of the shear stress of the damping fluid flowing in the annular conduit and hence on the deflection of the sheath. In this way, the damping of the shock absorber can be adjusted via the electrostatic field present at the electrodes.
Abstract: A line hook for a fishing float comprises a wire which is bent to form long circles and another circle. The long circles are formed to insert therein a line and the other circle is made for inserting therein a ring of a float so as to easily set the float on the line without cutting off the line. At least one end of the wire is bent to cross the said another circle in order to control the ring of the float so that the ring may be prevented from engaging the proper portions of the long circles.
Abstract: Contact pins of fuel injection valves are typically sealed off from the valve housing with sealing rings and provided with small plastic caps to protect them from an extruded plastic coating. The present invention simplifies this sealing. Accordingly, the housing includes axially aligned ducting bores with each ducting bore including a bore wall, each ducting bore of a valve housing is provided with at least two spaced bore grooves and each contact pin has at least two spaced contact pin grooves. Automatic sealing of the bores is attained by extrusion filling of the ducting bores and extrusion covering of the contact pins in the vicinity of the contact pin grooves based on the different temperature coefficients of the valve housing and plastic covering used.
Abstract: An automatic drive slip regulating unit for motor vehicles or the like which communicates via a connecting line with at least one brake line between a master brake cylinder and an anti-skid system with wheel brakes connected downstream. The connecting line is intended to discharge into a cylindrical chamber of an additional master cylinder, and the cylindrical chamber is intended to be variable by a plunger that is subject to the pressure of a spring-supported spring reservoir plunger. To return this spring reservoir plunger to its terminal position, for instance in the event of leakage or upon termination of the drive slip regulation, the spring reservoir plunger is to be subjectable on its other side to a pressure medium which derives from a separate low-pressure hydraulic circuit.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump of the distributor pump type having a pump piston driven for simultaneous reciprocation and rotation, the supply quantity of which that is effective for injection is controlled by the opening of a relief conduit of the pump work chamber in that with the aid of a mechanical regulator an annular slide is moved into variable stroke positions on the pump piston. Additionally, for an electronic regulation of the total injection quantity, a pre-stroke (hv) is provided, which is determined by a first valve and which, under the control of a second, electrically controlled valve connected to the output side of the first valve, is added to the basic supply stroke in a variably effective manner in terms of injection. Thus the fuel injection quantity can be regulated within the context of the fuel injection quantity difference resulting from the pre-stroke.

Further tools, specifically a face milling tool for producing the scoring grooves, a marking tool and/or a cutting tool for cutting out the pattern, may also be disposed on the transporting device.
Abstract: A connector with a locking mechanism and a connector box therefor. The connector box is made with one side for a connector element and the opposite side includes a holding element. Therefore, connector boxes are secured in a device to be secured together so that the connector boxed are oppositely disposed. A connector element is secured in each connector box and rotated to cooperate with the oppositely disposed holding element to secure the two devices together.
Abstract: The invention relates to an electromagnetically actuatable fuel injection valve which is used to supply fuel to a mixture compressing internal combustion engine. The fuel injection valve comprises a valve housing provided with an extension in which a valve seat body is disposed. A magnetic coil is mounted on each of the pole parts and a permanent magnet is disposed between the poles of the pole parts. The valve seat body is connected to a guide via a collet. The guide, collet and valve seat body are penetrated by a valve needle which is connected at its one end to an armature and which, at its other end, ends in a closing end. In the guide is a guide bore which is adapted to radially guide a spherical head portion of the valve needle and which then tapers into an abutment face, against which face the valve needle rests by way of the head when the injection valve is open. To open the valve, the valve needle is moved outwardly, thereby uncovering an ejection opening between a valve seat and the closing head.

Abstract: A plate-link chain for infinitely adjustable cone pulley drives, the link pivot elements of which, joining the individual chain links embodied by plate packets, are embodied as thrust members is disclosed. The thrust members are inserted into recesses of the plate-links, and with their end faces they serve to transfer frictional force between friction wheels and the plate-link chain. The embodiment is such that the length of the thrust members of individual links, defined crosswise to the direction of travel of the plate-link chain varies in a non-periodic sequence over the length of the chain.
Abstract: An open- or closed-loop control system is proposed, having at least one measuring transducer, an evaluation circuit connected with this transducer and at least one magnetic valve, which is incorporated in a hydraulic or pneumatic actuation system. The evaluation circuit and the electromagnet of the magnetic valve to be triggered by it are accommodated in a common housing; the valve or valves are accommodated in a separate block, and the housing is secured thereto. The valves are switched via one or more push rods leading out of the housing and displaceable by one or more electromagnets.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having a hydraulic control mechanism includes a control cylinder with a control piston actuating a control member, a hydraulic work chamber and one switching valve each for an input and an output controlled by a valve control unit. The inflow to and return from the work chamber is provided with the control valves in order to shut down the engine upon a shutoff or a malfunction in the hydraulic control mechanism. The fuel feed pump is electrically driven, and the hydraulic work chamber communicates with the fuel tank via a relief device. The supply of current to the valve control unit and the feed pump is switched on and off, along with the rest of the current supply to the engine, via a driving switch. Additionally, the valve control unit is embodied such that upon the appearance of a persistent control deviation of the control member, the valve control unit shuts off the feed pump.

Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having at least one pump element comprising a housing, a cylinder liner in the housing, a pump piston operative in the cylinder liner, a recess in the cylinder liner having a radial entrance, for a control slide which controls injection onset during axial displacement on the pump piston. In the vicinity of the entrance to the recess which discharges into the pump work chamber, an apron is disposed on the control slide or on the cylinder liner, in order to cover a portion of a radial three-dimensional gap present between the control slide and the cylinder liner. By this means, the diverted fuel stream that is reflected by the side walls can be interrupted and reflected at least one additional time, so as thereby to reduce its kinetic energy.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, in particular an in-line injection pump for Diesel engines, is proposed having an injection quantity governor and an electrically driven feed pump, in which in order to assure an emergency shutoff in the event of a malfunction of the injection quantity governor, a check valve, the forward flow direction of which is toward a suction chamber filled with fuel by the feed pump, is disposed between the pressure-side outlet of the feed pump and the suction chamber. An emergency shutoff device responding to a malfunction switches off the feed pump drive, so that because of the lack of feed pressure the check valve closes and blocks off the suction chamber. The engine comes to a stop, as soon as a partial vacuum is established in the suction chamber, which occurs as soon as several revolutions later.
Abstract: A hydraulic brake system having a hydraulic cylinder including a piston used for brake pressure modulation disposed between a master brake cylinder and at least one wheel brake cylinder in which the piston of the hydraulic cylinder is actuated mechanically by an electric-motor-driven centrifugal positioner. In an anti-skid system, the hydraulic cylinder can be used in combination with the centrifugal positioner for rapid reduction of brake pressure. It is also possible to embody the hydraulic cylinder and centrifugal positioner such that a brake boosting or anti-slip regulation takes place upon actuation of the centrifugal positioner. By the use of a centrifugal positioner, the piston can be displaced quickly and very precisely for either increasing or reducing brake pressure.
Abstract: In an apparatus for generating pre-injection quantities in unit fuel injectors for Diesel engines, including a pre-injection slide that generates a pronounced pressure intensification for a pre-injection in a pressure chamber closed off with respect to the high-pressure side and opens towards the injection line is slidably supported in a guide bore. The pre-injection slide is exposed to the injection pressure of an element chamber in such a way that after the execution of a partial stroke, which is responsible for the pre-injection quantity, upon further movement the pre-injection pressure chamber is opened toward the element chamber and thereby relieved, and by the ensuing movement of the pre-injection slide until the end of the stroke, a pre-determinable capacity that enables an injection pause is formed.
