Abstract: An LCD device includes a common line such as power source line in addition to data lines and scanning lines in the display area. The common line is connected to a plurality of peripheral leads in the peripheral area, the peripheral leads including first-type leads and second-type leads. The first-type lead is made of an ITO film for achieving a long-term reliability whereas the second-type lead has a two-layer structure including a metallic film and an ITO film for achieving a lower line resistance.
Abstract: A backlight unit includes front and rear emission surfaces and a plurality of lamps arranged in the central plane of the backlight unit, wherein the front and rear emission surfaces are inclined by +? and ?? degrees with respect to the central plane. The pitch of the lamps increases along the direction in which the distance between the emission surface and the central plane increases.
Abstract: An improved flavoring composition and process for brewing malt beverages is disclosed. In one embodiment of the invention, the flavoring composition is formed from a high solids percent, room temperature stable, partially aqueous composition of a potassium salt of iso-?-acids. Such composition may be added to the wort kettle or else used as a post-fermentation additive, preferably after dilution with demineralized water. In another embodiment, the flavoring composition comprises a mixture containing reduced (rho-) iso-?-acids in alkali metal salts form, ?-acids and hop oil. This latter composition is useful as a substitute for normal kettle extract, hops or hop pellets, allowing easy preparation of beer that resists formation of unpleasant, “skunk” flavors but has otherwise similar flavor and physical properties.

Abstract: The invention pertains to a separable plug connection, particularly for rectangular connectors that are composed of a shielding metal housing, a connector insert and an insulating sleeve that encompasses the metal housing, as well as a correspondingly designed mating connector. The invention proposes to arrange the encompassing sleeve in a displaceable fashion, wherein metal locking levers arranged on the metal housing are guided into a slot within the sleeve in such a way that the free ends of the metal locking levers are pressed part during a sliding movement of the sleeve. When the connector and the corresponding mating connector are connected and interlocked, this causes hooks integrally arranged on the metal locking levers to be levered out of opening arranged on the mating connector such that the locking device is released. The hooks engage into the openings when the plug connection needs to be interlocked.

Each definition has a set of donor control values defining the respective donor mark-making tool. Abstract: Light is input into an incident surface portion from a fluorescent lamp, and most of the light propagates in repetition directions. Since a length of an emission portion of the fluorescent lamp is shorter than that of the incident surface portion, there are areas to which no light propagates and dark portions generate in the repetition directions of a string of prisms.
