Patent number: 4152557Abstract: A safety plug socket has two independently actuated circuit breakers. The two circuit breakers are in the form of a common C-shaped leaf spring and two conducting actuating pins which are movable to close the circuit breakers when a plug on a line cord from a consumer appliance is inserted into the socket of the circuit outlet to move the actuating pins of the two circuit breakers into contact with the conductive leaf spring. In one form of the invention, the biasing springs of the circuit breakers are current carrying and form a part of the supply circuit. In another form of the invention, each circuit element comprises leaf spring contact arms which are bridged by a conductive bridging member carried by respectively actuating pins of the circuit breakers. Power can only be obtained from the outlet socket when both circuit breakers are closed and when the plug from the consumer appliance has been moved into the outlet socket, which action closes off access to the tubular contacts to the circuit breakers.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 1977Date of Patent: May 1, 1979Inventors: Manfred Busch, deceased, by Jakob Busch, heir, by Therese Busch nee Schmid, heir

Patent number: 4151567Abstract: A circuit arrangement offsets the data heads of a data cylinder memory by a determinate amount from the mid-position of the data cylinder and uses a fine regulating circuit and a coarse regulating circuit. The circuit arrangement includes a track difference register, a digital/analog converter connected to the track difference register, and arrangement for forming the sign and a function generator, in which the amount of the desired track offset is input, in digital form, into the track difference register, and which is converted into an analog value by the subsequently connected digital/analog converter. The sign of the offset is produced in the coarse regulating circuit which has an arrangement provided for normal positioning. An analog switch is connected between the input and output of the function generator and linearizes the function generator when the same is closed when the regulating circuit is transferred to fine regulation.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 1977Date of Patent: April 24, 1979Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventors: Stephen Dorsemagen, Hermann Eiting

Patent number: 4150293Abstract: In an illustrated embodiment a plurality of x-ray sources are arranged at equal angles about a rotating frame. Each source and detector arrangement may provide the desired number of measurements such as 240, so that the required angular movement for scanning is reduced by a factor corresponding to the number of sources. In one embodiment with three sources and 240 detectors for each source, the desired number of measured values may be obtained by rotation through 120 degrees instead of 360 degrees. In another illustrative embodiment, the narrow beam from the x-ray source covers about 30 detectors, the beam and detectors being linearly scanned so as to generate about 240 measurements, there being three source-detector arrangements separated by 60 degrees, so that scanning is carried out by rotation through 60 degrees rather than 180 degrees.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 1977Date of Patent: April 17, 1979Assignee: Siemens AktiengesellschaftInventor: Kurt Franke
