Abstract: In a backlight apparatus used in an LCD, in which upper and lower reflective plates are installed under upper and lower transparent plates, respectively. The lower transparent plates and the lower reflective plates introduce light generated by lower light sources in upward directions and the upper transparent plate and the upper reflective plates introduce light generated by an upper light source into those areas, which are not lighted by the lower light sources. This can prevent the formation of dark areas above the lower light sources thereby enhancing the overall uniformity of light.

Abstract: A method for assigning a channel in multi-FA CDMA mobile communication system according to the received power prevents communication quality of a FA from being inferior to that of the others by managing the interference level of the FA. The method comprises the steps of: comparing a first threshold value with received power when the base station receives a new call request; assigning a traffic channel in a first FA of the request, if the received power is less than the first threshold value, and searching a second FA of which received power is least, if not; comparing a second threshold value with the received power of the second FA; and assigning a traffic channel in the second FA if the received power is less than the second threshold value, and rejecting the request, if not.

Abstract: A fuel door housing for the fueling of an automobile including a tub-like body, a flap which is hingely linked to the body, a thrust spring biasing the flap toward an opened position, a locking element having a locking and an unlocking position, and an actuating element for placing the locking element into the unlocking position. The locking element is moved towards the unlocking position through a one-way transmission of the actuating element upon a movement of the flap into its closed position or beyond thereof, respectively, and the locking element completely engages the catching element upon arrival of the flap at its closed position. A casing is formed at the inner side of the body. The locking element and parts of the actuating elements are accommodated by the casing, and a locking portion of the locking element is sealingly extended through a wall portion of the casing facing the catching element.

Abstract: A LED-type wall lamp with decorative liquid consists of a transparent container for liquid on top and a base on bottom. The transparent container for liquid is used to accommodate various kinds of decorative liquid for displaying. Plug pins are disposed on the base projecting outwards so as to connect with an electric socket while a circuit board and a plurality of LED lights with different colors are disposed inside the base. The light emitted from LED lights illuminates toward the bottom of the transparent container for liquid. By the transparent container for liquid, the decorative liquid, and light from LED lights, the present invention has bright and colorful visual effect as well as effects of electricity saving, higher safety and decoration.

Abstract: A method for preparing three types of benzidine compounds in a specific ratio, the method uses two types of diphenylamine compounds and one type of biphenyldihalide compound in a specific ratio as reactants to mix with an organic solvent and an additive to synthesize benzidine compounds in one step. The synthesized three types of benzidine compounds specially perform in a designated mixturing ratio having excellent photoelectric characteristics for a charge transporting layer in an organic photo-conductive drum.

Abstract: A pulley is made by fixing an edge of an opening of a plate by using a first upper mandrel ring installed at a lower end of a first supporting pin of a first forming device. A supporting block disposed around an upper end of a first spindle is rotated with the first spindle. An inner hub of the pulley is formed by inwardly pressing an upper surface of the plate against a first pressing roller to reduce the thickness of the plate while drawing the plate around a first mandrel ring. The plate is fixed to a second spindle of a second forming device, so the plate rotates with the second spindle. An outer hub is formed by pressing a convex bead toward the inner hub by using a fourth pressing roller and by drawing the outer hub.

A similarity between the input document and each class is calculated using information saved for every document class. The calculated similarity to each class is corrected. The class to which the input document belongs is determined in accordance with the corrected similarity to each class.

Abstract: Disclosed are a GaN-based semiconductor light emitting diode and a method for manufacturing the same. The GaN-based semiconductor light emitting diode includes a substrate on which a GaN-based semiconductor material is grown; a lower clad layer formed on the substrate, and made of a first conductive GaN semiconductor material; an active layer formed on a designated portion of the lower clad layer, and made of an undoped GaN semiconductor material; an upper clad layer formed on the active layer, and made of a second conductive GaN semiconductor material; an alloy layer formed on the upper clad layer, and made of an alloy selected from the group consisting of La-based alloys and Ni-based alloys; and an TCO layer formed on the alloy layer. The alloy layer has a high transmittance and forms Ohmic contact, thus reducing a contact resistance.

Abstract: The invention provides a portable and autonomous assistance device to derive information on faults in a private telecommunication installation comprising particularly equipment units to assist the client owning the installation in maintaining the latter. A maintenance session is selected in a maintenance server of the service provider managing the installation as a function of information transmitted by the assistance device so as to provide instructions in the device. The address of the server and an identifier of the equipment unit are rapidly read by means of a bar code reader which can also read bar codes in a user manual. The assistance device also serves to configure a terminal (TE) by means of a configuration session opened in a server (SFT) of the terminal manufacturer.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a bearing assembly capable of assuring mechanical strength and reducing a friction coefficient and stress concentration, and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention comprises a spherical journal and a hemispherical bearing that is made of a fiber reinforced composite and has a bearing surface for establishing a spherical pair with the spherical journal. The fiber reinforced composite can be constructed by arranging a uni-directional prepreg, woven fiber prepregs and staple-fiber prepregs in a variety of configurations, and thermoplastic resin particles or self-lubrication particles are uniformly provided on the bearing surface. It is possible to alleviate stress concentration generated on the bearing surface by forming a plurality of air channels capable of imparting directivity on an outer surface of the hemispherical bearing.

Abstract: A heat sink structure comprises: a heat conducting base being provided thereon with a plurality of heat sinking fins arranged longitudinally and transversely to mutually cross each other; with the help of the blowing air blown by an above installed fan, the heat sink can make a fast exchange of the cool air and hot air in the interspace among the heat sinking fins to help dissipate the heat generated by a CPU to the ambient to achieve the fast heat sinking effect. The structure is applied to a heat sink for a computer, an electronic instrument or some other heat generating electric component.

Abstract: The present invention concerns an adapting element (1) for at least one programmable electronic holder (2) to be personalized, having a size larger than that of all programmable electronic holders to be personalized and meeting the size accepted by a personalization machine, the adapting element (1) being characterized in that it is provided with a housing (101) of adapted size and shape to house and maintain at least one programmable electronic holder (2), and in that it comprises first communication means (103) enabling it to receive personalization data via contact or contactless link, from a personalization device of a personalization machine, and second communication means (102, 104) enabling it to transmit said personalization data to the programmable electronic holder via contact or contactless link. The switch is connected electrically to the controller to turn the heating element on and off. The power source is connected electrically to the controller to supply electricity to the heating device. The cushion is mounted in the recess above the heating element and is heated by heat from the heating element to improve the blood circulation in the mouse user's wrist area while a user operates the computer mouse.

Abstract: A vibration motor includes a stator assembly, a rotor assembly, a shaft and a pair of brushes having different osculatory tracks. The stator assembly includes a magnet and a lower substrate. The rotor assembly has an eccentric weight, and includes a commutator positioned on the lower surface thereof and a coil. The shaft is inserted into a rotary center of the rotor assembly for forming a rotary shaft of the rotor assembly.

Abstract: The invention relates to a satellite position pinpointing receiver intended to carry out combined processing of a first received radio signal and a second received radio signal which differ in frequency. The receiver comprises: a first correlator circuit and a second correlator circuit receiving the first and second received signals respectively, each correlator having a carrier correlation channel, a code correlation channel and a code correlation channel integrator. The receiver furthermore includes: a central-carrier phase discriminator; a device, the respective local carriers for the carrier correlation channels, a code phase discriminator; and a numerically controlled oscillator, for each correlation channel. Applications: satellite radio navigation by GPS, Galileo, Glonass, etc.

Abstract: A fastener element includes a fastener body and a locking part. The body includes a shank having two outer webs interconnected by a transverse web. The outer webs have projections including upper and lower ramp surfaces. The locking part includes an aperture having first and second pairs of opposing edges, and L-shaped holding portions each having a first web portion linked to one of the first opposing edges, and a second web portion extending into the aperture. When the outer webs are introduced into slots between the second opposing edges and the holding portions, the lower ramp surfaces move the holding portions away from each other and the second web portions engage the upper ramp surfaces from above. If the shank is introduced in a fastening hole of a support part while the locking part engages the support part, the holding portions are further pivoted away from each other and the second web portions grip the edge of the fastening hole.
