Abstract: A system and method for analyzing loan data to identify risk. In a database, loan data is stored with one or more associated characteristics. The system includes a risk filtering engine is in communication with the database so that a user may apply one or more risk filters to the loan data to identify particular loans with particular risk characteristics. The system further includes a loss estimation engine for providing an estimated loss for each loan, a probability of loss engine for determining a probability of loss for each loan, and a loss list engine for generating a list of loans with heightened risk of loss.
Abstract: The system and method for streaming media to a viewer and managing the media comprises and an enhanced service routing processor (ESRP), a real time switch management system (RTSMS), a name routing processor (NRP), and a managed media switch (MMS). The system and method operate with a reservation server. The ESRP receives media from an owner, manages the media according to media rules and order rules defined by the owner, and distributes the media to one or more switches, such as the MMS, according to the media rules and the order rules. The RTSMS is configured to receive the media rules and to receive a viewer's media request via the reservation server. The RTSMS processes the media request according to the media rules and builds a reservation for the requested media. The RTSMS generates the reservation to the viewer and to the NRP. The NRP receives the reservation data from the viewer and from the RTSMS. The NRP processes the reservation data and locates an MMS that can stream the media to the viewer.
Abstract: Protective modular holders for CDs and DVDs can be assembled into a storage assembly from which each disc and its accompanying literature can be removed without opening an individual holder. Two outer elements and an inner element form a module which receives two components, such as a pair of discs, or a disc and a booklet. Each side of the inner member cooperates with the corresponding outer element to form a disc receiving opening with openings aligned or at 90° or 180° offsets. The units are connected at the corners to adjacent units with the openings in selected alignments to form a storage assembly. The assembly may be expanded by connecting additional holder units. The outer elements and inner members cooperatively form a slot and label rail for receiving a label when the elements are joined together. The inner holder member surfaces may include a disc cleaner.
Abstract: The invention relates to pyrimidin 2-one compounds of general formula (I), in addition to the derivatives and tautomers of (I) and the physiologically acceptable salts of said compounds. In said formula, A represents linear or branched C3-C6 alkene, which can have a double bond or triple bond and/or a group Z, which is not adjacent to the nitrogen atom of the pyrimidinone ring and is selected from O, S, C(O), NR3, C(O)NR3, NR3C(O), OC(O) and C(O)O; B represents a group of the formula (II), in which X stands for CH2 or N and Y stands for CH2 or CH2CH2, or X—Y can also jointly represent C?CH, C?CH—CH2 or CH—CH?CH; R1 and R2 are defined as cited in the description and the claims; and Ar represents an optionally substituted aromatic group. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical agent, containing at least one compound (I) and the tautomers, derivatives and/or acid addition salts of said compound, optionally together with physiologically acceptable carriers and/or auxiliary agents.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for equalizing a reflection in a reflective high speed serial link. The method involves obtaining an amplitude and delay time of a compensating pulse that is transmitted in response to a pulse transmitted on the serial link. The apparatus comprises a programmable delay element and a driver stage configured to transmit a delayed and amplitude adjusted version of a pulse transmitted on the serial link. A method for equalizing a plurality of reflections in a reflective high speed serial link. The method involves obtaining an amplitude and delay time of a first compensating pulse and an amplitude and delay time of a second compensating pulse. The method further involves transmitting the first compensating and second compensating pulses in response to a pulse transmitted on the serial link.
Abstract: It has been discovered that a control transfer table can be structured to reduce the overhead resulting from its use (e.g., misses from accessing the control transfer table). Entries of a control transfer table (e.g., a jump table or a procedure linkage table) can be organized in accordance with their respective use frequencies, as well as other parameters. For example, entries can be organized in a manner that would group the most frequently used entries, thus facilitating their contemporaneous availability in a memory (e.g., cache). The use frequencies may be determined from profile information for a code that references the control transfer table.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a DNA vaccine for immunization against HIV. The invention comprises a DNA molecule that has a sequence encoding a plurality of viral proteins capable of stimulating an immune response against HIV. The DNA molecule is rendered safe for used as a vaccine by the disruption of genes encoding reverse transcriptase, integrase, and Vif. The DNA molecule is further rendered safe by at least a partial deletion of the 3? LTR.
Abstract: Compounds of formula (I) wherein R1, R2, R4, and W are defined in the description are TRPV 1 antagonists with CNS penetration. Compositions comprising such compounds and methods for treating conditions and disorders using such compounds and compositions are also disclosed.

Abstract: An orally administered antihyperlipidemia composition according to the present invention includes from about 250 to about 3000 parts by weight of nicotinic acid, and from about 5 to about 50 parts by weight of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Also, a method of treating hyperlipidemia in a hyperlipidemic having a substantially periodic physiological loss of consciousness, includes the steps of forming a composition having an effective antihyperlipidemic amount of nicotinic acid and a time release sustaining amount of a swelling agent. The method also includes the step of orally administering the composition to the hyperlipidemic once per day “nocturnally,” that is in the evening or at night.
Abstract: The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, prodrugs, salts of prodrugs, or combinations thereof, wherein R1, R2, and R3, are defined in the specification. Compositions comprising such compounds and methods for treating conditions and disorders using such compounds and compositions are also disclosed.

Abstract: A multithreaded processor with a banked cache is provided. The instruction set includes at least one atomic operation which is executed in the L2 cache if the atomic memory address source data is aligned. The core executing the instruction determines whether the atomic memory address source data is aligned. If it is aligned, the atomic memory address is sent to the bank that contains the atomic memory address source data, and the operation is executed in the bank. In one embodiment, if the instruction is mis-aligned, the operation is executed in the core.

Abstract: A filler cell for use in fabricating an integrated circuit. The filler cell couples a power supply rail of an adjacent logic cell to a power supply rail of another adjacent logic cell. The filler cell also has a diode to bleed charge accumulated on the power rails of the adjacent logic cells to the substrate. The diode is reverse biased during normal integrated circuit operation. A method for fabricating an integrated circuit with a power grid. At least one filler cell is placed on the integrated circuit to bleed away charge accumulated on the power grid during the fabrication of the integrated circuit. The filler cell is connected to a supply rail of an adjacent logic cell.
