Abstract: A resist pattern for fabricating a microelectronic device is irradiated with an energy beam, raising the glass transition temperature of the upper parts of the resist pattern, then baked, causing a transition to a glassy state in lower parts of the resist pattern, which flow viscously so that the resist pattern assumes a tapered cross sectional shape. When this tapered resist pattern is used as an etching mask, tapered features can be formed in the device. In particular, tapered contact holes can be formed, providing an increased alignment tolerance and enabling the size of the device to be reduced.
Abstract: A personal digital assistant with static electricity preventing function, comprising: a metallic or electroplated chassis installed in the personal digital assistant serving as the grounding for the personal digital assistant; a touch panel module installed on the chassis; and a metallic shielding piece installed on the touch panel module and is equipped with a grounding section on the side, of which, the grounding section is connected to the chassis dispersing electrostatic charges, meanwhile, fixes the touch panel module firmly to the chassis.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a driving device for a scanning module. An active gear wheel and a passive gear wheel are disposed respectively on two rigid frames. These two rigid frames are connected by a rigid component to avoid relative displacement between the two wheels due to external force or change of temperature. A spring is disposed on the rigid component to adjust the position of the passive gear wheel while the active gear wheel stays still. It allows the driving belt to automatically offset the strain according to its fatigue condition. The rigid component of the present invention may also be adopted as a guiding track for the scanning module.
Abstract: A paper currency receiver for use in a ticket vending machine, money exchange machine, or the like is constructed to include a housing with a paper currency insertion slot, and a detector unit formed of an upper base and a lower base and mounted in the housing and adapted for detecting the authenticity of paper currency inserted into the paper currency insertion slot, the detector unit defining an angled passage between the upper base and the lower base for guiding inserted paper currency away from the paper currency insertion slot to a paper currency storage cabinet, the lower base having a pivoted safety hook turned in and out of the angled passage for stopping backward movement of inserted paper currency.

Abstract: A semiconductor device which can suppress an electronic breakdown. In the semiconductor device, a base electrode is connected to a base region in a base contact region defined on a surface of the base region. An N-type region having the same conductivity type as an emitter region is provided beneath a boundary portion of the base contact region to surround the base contact region. In other words, a PN-type diode constituted by the P-type base region and the N-type region is provided beneath the boundary portion of the base contact region.

The method also includes providing a rinsing liquid from a rinsing liquid supplying nozzle on the semiconductor substrate on which the patterned resist film is formed in such a way that the rinsing liquid remains on the semiconductor substrate by surface tension, ultrasonic vibration being applied to the rinsing liquid supplying nozzle, and removing the rinsing liquid remaining on the semiconductor substrate.

The desk comprises two first crosspieces interconnected legs at both side, second and third crosspieces interconnected both sides, two links moveably mounted on the first crosspieces, a connecting member moveable along the links, a latch at the connecting member, a printer support on top of the links, a keyboard tray, a hole in each leg, and a computer platform releasably secured to the holes from one of inner and outer locations at either side of the desk. Abstract: The invention includes mainly a machine base, a carrier, a sliding control mechanism, a latch mechanism, a horizontal shifting mechanism, and a lifting mechanism. The FOUP (front-opening unified pod) is put on the carrier and latched by a locking plate of the latch at an accurate position. The carrier moves forwardly to tightly engage the FOUP to a gate on an access at a backboard of the machine base, and thus a cover of the FOUP is opened by a headstock gear at the back of the gate then carried backwardly away from the FOUP by the horizontal shifting mechanism and lowered by the lifting mechanism. Reversely, the cover is closed on the FOUP. As such, the cover is loaded and opened automatically, as well as in closed, which can be a part of automation and prevents wafers from contamination.

Abstract: A data transmission system using a pair of complement signals (STROB/STROB#) as an edge-aligned strobe signal and input/output buffers therein. Several data signals and a pair of STROB/STROB# signals are transmitted from a data output device to a data input device therein. These data signals and the STROB/STROB# signals are edge-aligned and transmitted through the same transmission architecture. The data input device includes several data comparators for generating output signals from the received data signals using the received STROB/STROB# signals as a dynamic reference voltage. In addition, the data input device further includes several comparators and delay elements for generating a pair of non-inverting/inverting latch clock signals from the STROB/STROB# signals. Each of the output signals is sent to two data latch circuits for outputting two latched data based on the latch clock signals.

Abstract: To provide a power steering device for a boat with an outboard motor which helps to realize easy drive with small steering force without taking waterproofness into consideration. A gear device (4) is provided for driving a link mechanism for turning and steering an outboard motor main body at the rear of the boat body through a cable by a steering wheel (2). A steering torque input to the gear device (4) by the steering wheel (2) is detected by a torque sensor (35) to assist-drive the gear device 4 in the steering direction by an electric motor (27), a helical pinion (25), and a helical wheel (26).

A sleeve is adapted to be integrally formed around the distal end of the body to enclose the at least two pins. The sleeve has two ribs oppositely formed on an inner periphery of the sleeve. An enclosure is adapted to be integrally formed around a distal end of the female connector and has an outer threading formed to correspond to the inner threading of the cover. A gap is adapted to be sandwiched between a body of the female connector and the enclosure to correspond to the sleeve. The sleeve received in the gap and threading connection between the cover and the enclosure enhance waterproof ability of the ornamental light string.
Abstract: A portable heat-dissipating device for a notebook computer has a top casing, a bottom casing, a fan assembly and a container. The top casing and the bottom casing are mounted together, and the fan assembly and the container are held between the top casing and the bottom casing. The fan assembly is used to dissipate the heat from the notebook computer. The container holds a peripheral device for the notebook computer to decrease space required to carry peripheral devices for the notebook computer.
Abstract: A clamping device for injection-molding machine includes a high-speed screw rod unit having a nut element screwed thereto and a movable mold holder connected to a front end thereof, a clamping screw rod unit screwed to a rear end of the nut element and connected to a transmission assembly, a pre-pressing unit adjustably tightened to the clamping screw rod unit for the latter to generate a pre-pressure against the nut element, and a braking unit adapted to brake the nut element. When the nut element is not braked, the high-speed screw rod unit is driven by the transmission assembly to move forward at high speed for closing mold. And, when the nut element is braked and the clamping screw rod unit is driven by the transmission assembly to rotate relative to the nut element, the nut element is linearly pushed forward to generate a high-pressure clamping force during closing mold.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a improved technology of electronic lighter, it includes the gas valve assembly on casing, piezoelectric assembly and press trigger, characterized in that a strengthener is provided between piezoelectric assembly and press trigger; there is a push key on press trigger and a reset spring between push key and side wall of press trigger with a lobe at its bottom which has a position corresponding to the top of strengthener. The present invention has properties of effective controlling the operation state of press trigger, preventing from mistake manipulation, heightening the safety of lighter and pushing the press trigger with ease for being supplemented with a strengthener and realizing its matching with push key.
