  • Patent number: 6600225
Abstract: In a semiconductor device with multiple wiring layers, to connect a conductive line in a lower wiring layer to a conductive line in an upper wiring layer, two conductive members are formed in the space between the upper and lower conductive layers, one conductive member in contact with each conductive line. The two conductive members meet in the space between the two conductive layers to form an electrical path between the two conductive lines. One or both of the conductive members may have a rectangular bar shape extending lengthwise along the conductive line with which it makes contact. The conductive members can have a reduced height and enlarged area that enables interconnections to be formed with greater stability and reliability than by conventional methods.

  • Patent number: 6594256
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to achieve reliable transfer of DTMF signals by preventing the DTMF signals from being doubly received by a receiver due to the DTMF signals being transferred as sound signals to the receiver through a channel for call when transferring the DTMF signals through a channel for control. A communication apparatus in accordance with the present invention is configured to send out a silence to the channel for call when a DTMF signal is transferred so as to prevent the DTMF signal from being sent out as a sound signal onto the channel for call. Furthermore, the communication apparatus is also configured to delete a DTMF signal stored in an FIFO to thereby prevent the DTMF signal from being sent out onto the channel for call.

  • Patent number: 6591985
Abstract: An improved structure of toolbox aims at the shortcomings of the traditional toolbox structure that can only be placed horizontally but not vertically. By means of the bottom of bottom box structure having a blocking slope with an appropriate angle and a central extended coupling structure, the present invention works together with the bottom of a covering tray structure being disposed at a coupling opening and a blocking surface. Since the blocking slope presses against the blocking surface and gives an inclined angle for the arrangement of placing the toolbox vertically, the user is able to find and store tools in a quick manner.

  • Patent number: 6588717
Abstract: A planar assembly support includes a pillar and bed fixable on a surface. A bed center hole is provided with an inner screw thread. An inner locking member has a protruded retaining ring and an outer screw thread on a lower portion outer peripheral face, and fixedly locks on the bed via a threaded connection with the inner screw thread of the bed. The outer screw thread may consist of at least two sections of a convex spiral constituting less than a complete revolution. The pillar and inner locking member can be dismantled together from the bed. The bed left on the surface occupies a smaller space and, therefore, reduces the risk of tripping, while providing convenient mounting and dismantling without damage to the surface. A lock/release mechanism may be provided to prevent inadvertent rotation of the pillar in an unscrewing direction with respect to the bed.

  • Patent number: 6588068
Abstract: A strap fastener of a swimming flipper uses the resilience of a spring to press a wedge block of a wedge block set and a bevel of a main body to tightly depress the fastening strap of the swimming flipper. For fastening, the said flipper fastening strap goes vertically into the fastener to improve the fastening method of bending the traditional fastening strap reversely at 180°, to eliminate the situation of bending and cracking generated after a certain period of application and to increase the useful life of the present invention. Moreover, the fastening strap of the swimming flipper of the present invention goes vertically into the fastener, closely attaches to the main body of the swimming flipper and turns along with the direction of flowing water during swimming or diving to thereby reduce the water resistance and enhance the diving efficiency.
