  • Patent number: 6516003
Abstract: In the conventional data communication apparatus, there has been arisen a flag emulation due to a false pattern similar to the pattern of the true flag in a frame signal including a plurality of frames. To avoid the flag emulation, the data communication apparatus according to the present invention comprises detecting circuit and a preparing circuit. The detecting circuit detects a false pattern in the bit stream while the preparing circuit prepares a frame using the portion of the bit stream other than the detected false pattern, thus enabling avoidance of the flag emulation due to the false flag.

  • Patent number: 6513773
Abstract: An Improved Structure wall-mounted articles hanger that addresses the shortcomings of conventional wall hanger mount structures and in which the top and bottom sections of a mounting fixture of predetermined design (such as a hemispherical body) have respectively disposed an anchoring hole as well as a recess that provides for the fitting over of a cover. A round opening is formed in the top section recess and after its alignment with a threaded hole through a swing slot horizontally formed along the center of the said mounting fixture and an insert hole formed in the inner end of a hanger member, a bolt is inserted and fastened, and various objects are then clipped to or suspended from the outer end of the hanger member. As such, a single mounting fixture accommodates the installation of different application hanger members that are pivotable and interchangeable and, furthermore, the said hanger members are capable of remaining stationary or rotated to a desired angle.

  • Patent number: 6515469
Abstract: A method of managing a testing apparatus for quality control test of ICs, which method can suppress a decrease in efficiency of the testing apparatus. When a test result is given that successive defective articles occurred in mutually different test samples in an electrical measurement test by a testing apparatus (10), a standard sample whose electrical characteristics have been confirmed is put to an electrical measurement for reassuring purposes. If a test result by this measurement is within a specified tolerance, a decision is made that the test function of the testing apparatus is normal, but if the test result is outside the tolerance, a decision is made that the test function is abnormal.

  • Patent number: 6511139
Abstract: A modularized industrial console includes a fixing frame, an operative module, a supporting horizontal bar, an optional function module, two sliding blocks, and two sliding grooves. The fixing frame is retained on an industrial rack and assembled with the supporting horizontal bar and the two sliding grooves. The operative module is arranged on a front side of the assembled fixing frames and the optional function module is arranged on a rear side of the assembled fixing frames. With the help of switch functions of KVM (keyboard, video and mouse), the modularized industrial console prevents undue purchase and stockage.

  • Patent number: 6513076
Abstract: A method of detecting peripheral components for a computer system to effectively start a driver of the peripheral component connected to the bus. By scanning all the buses orderly to detect the peripheral components connected to the buses, the peripheral components can be effectively used. The method can further be applied for the peripheral components connected to the PCI uses, the hierarchy structure formed by the PCI to PCI bridge to start the drivers of the peripheral components.

  • Patent number: 6512287
Abstract: A board frame includes a wiring board region, which includes an island on which a semiconductor device is to be mounted; and a marginal region surrounding the wiring board region. The board frame further includes a frame region, which is located around the marginal region; and a support region which connects the wiring board region and the frame region. The marginal region is removed from the board frame and is put back to its original position, while the wiring board region is maintained being connected to the frame region through the support region.

  • Patent number: 6512334
Abstract: An organic electroluminescence (OEL) matrix-type single-pixel driver, which comprises: an OEL device, a first transistor, and a second transistor. The first transistor and the second transistor form a complementary structure so that when the data line uses the first transistor to drive an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) device, the second transistor is in the OFF state, causing no power consumption. When the data line is in the LOW state, the first transistor is in the OFF state. The second transistor is in a sub-threshold state after getting rid of extra charges.

  • Patent number: 6512697
Abstract: A circuit and method for speed and stability enhancement for a sense amplifier comprises an offset current apparatus and a discharge current apparatus connected to a data node on one side of a transmission transistor that has another side with a sense node connected to a charge current apparatus and a leakage current apparatus with the leakage current mirrored from the offset current. The offset current ensures the transmission transistor not shut down and the voltage on the data node below a specific level, thereby enhancing the speed of the sense amplifier. The leakage current enhances the stability of the sense amplifier. Mirroring the leakage current from the offset current results good control of the operation and performance of the sense amplifier.

  • Patent number: 6510168
Abstract: A drive current Ip used to control the light output from a laser diode LD is controlled by using an output Vsft from a level shift circuit 3. By inserting the level shift circuit 3 between a drive source (V+) and a switch buffer 5, the lower limit (V+)−(V−) of the drive voltage in the circuit is lowered to enable the laser diode drive circuit to be driven at a lower voltage and to achieve a reduction in power consumption.

  • Patent number: 6508667
Abstract: A back plate has a metal body with at least one through hole defined in the body. A grounding member formed on one edge of each through hole. The grounding member has a straight long portion, a short portion and an arcuate portion. The long portion with a first end leads from the periphery of the at least one through hole. The short portion with a first end separates from the periphery of the at least one through hole and is formed substantially in line with the long portion. The first end of the short portion is directed towards a central portion of the at least one through hole. The arcuate portion extends between second ends of the long and short portions. Accordingly, the grounding member can reliably contact with the casing of the connector due to the resilience provided by the grounding member.

  • Patent number: 6510134
Abstract: A non-break change-over device (20) used for a redundancy system having a standby system and an active system. The non-break change-over device (20) is provided with a monitoring section (21), internal switching circuits (23) and (23′), external switching circuits (24) and (24′) and delay circuits (25) and (25′). Outputting of a switching request signal (28) fed by an external switching circuit (24) is made delayed by the delaying action of a delay circuit (25) until a frame pulse (26) is inputted. This enables switching between an active state and a standby state during the same frame even if a frame pulse for a standby system is out of phase with that for an active system.
