The size of the undercut is less than or equal to the size of the play of the catch (14) on the bearing pin (19).
Abstract: The invention relates to a ball circulation unit in which ball rows are guided in a multi-component cage. The cage optionally consists of first inner segments and/or second inner segments, and is complemented by head pieces which comprise webs ensuring guidance of the balls in carrying portions of two adjoining ball rows. Designing the cage in this way makes it possible to produce it from plastics applying the injection molding process. The design of the inner segments permits variation regarding the design and arrangement of the ball rows.
Abstract: In a bar steel rolling mill with a water-cooling segment upstream of a finishing train for thermomechanical finish rolling, respectively, one group of stands of an intermediate train or of intermediate trains, which is adjusted for rolling a larger finish cross-section than the smallest possible finish cross-section, is transferred to a stand location of the finish train, which has a water-cooling segment directly upstream of it. The finishing train for the smallest possible finished cross-section no longer needs to be refurbished to the larger finish cross-section, rather it is simply replaced by a group of stands from one or several intermediate trains, and rapid change devices are utilized for moving the strands and are all connected with each other by a pair of rails extending parallel to the rolling line up to at least one stand location of the finish train.
Abstract: The invention concerns a screening apparatus comprising two frame systems which are movable relative to one another, comprising grate bars assigned to each system, which grate bars of each frame system are alternately disposed and are connected by means of flexible screen elements which are fastened at the latter, bridge the distance between the bars, and are tensioned and relieved of tension by means of the relative movement of the two systems caused by means of an eccentric shaft which is supported exclusively at the two systems and rotated by means of a drive. This known construction is improved, according to the invention, in that the eccentric shaft is arranged at one end of the two systems (1, 7) and the latter are connected with one another at a distance from this end by means of an element (12) which ensures a substantially linear relative movement of the two systems relative to one another. The aforementioned distance preferably corresponds to the distance of the acceleration pole (P.sub.
Abstract: A hose pump has a housing (10) with a pressure connection (14) and an intake connection (12). A hose (22) is connected to the pressure connection and the intake connection and rests against the inner wall (24) of the housing (10). Squeezing members (26) can be moved along the hose (22) such that the hose is squeezed by each squeezing member from the direction of the intake connection (12) toward the direction of the pressure connection (14). The hose pump is characterized by at least one conduit (32) which is elastically deformable and whose one end (44) ends in the interior (46) of the housing (10) and whose other end (50) ends outside of the housing (10) and which is provided in the interior (46) of the housing such that by moving at least two additional squeezing members (26) which can be moved along the conduit, the conduit is squeezable from the direction of its one end (44) into the direction of its other end (50).

Abstract: A coin discriminator discriminates a genuine coin from a counterfeit on the basis of a real component and an imaginary component of an impedance of the coin produced from a high frequency alternating current bridge circuit and decides an amount of the coin when the coin is genuine. An automatic balancing circuit having a sufficiently long time constant is employed to detect variations in the real component and the imaginary component of the impedance due to insertion of the coin. Whether the coin is genuine or counterfeit is discriminated on the basis of peak values of both variations and when the coin is genuine, an amount of the coin is decided.
Abstract: A process and device for detecting and evaluating surface cracks in workpieces wherein a picture is produced of the surface of the workpiece by means of a video camera and said picture is digitized and is processed by means of a computer to produce a binary picture of any cracks present and a sorting report is triggered when a preselected threshold level is exceeded. In order to obtain a sorting signal that is independent of the absolute brightness of the original picture a blurred background picture is derived from the original picture levels that have been converted to digitized grey shade levels and subtracted from the original picture, the difference picture formed in this way giving the crack representation.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus of injection molding articles of thermoplastic material. The method includes initially forcing molten plastics material into an injection mold in an amount sufficient for forming the article. Subsequently, a flowable medium is forced into the injection mold with a pressure which distributes the plastics material uniformly over the surface of the mold cavity of the injection mold so as to form a hollow body. The hollow body is then cooled while the pressure of the medium is maintained. Finaly, the pressure of the medium is released and the molded article is removed from the injection mold. The pressure of the medium in the mold cavity is controlled and/or varied at least temporarily until the plastics material has cooled. The apparatus for carrying out the method includes a pressure reservoir for the medium which is connectible to the injection mold through lines. The lines include control and/or regulating elements.
Abstract: A carrier strip (1) for explosive powder charge operated setting tools holds fastening elements or nails (2) in receiving bores (3) equidistantly spaced apart in the strip. Disks (6, 7) hold and guide the nails (2) in the receiving bores (3). Stops (8, 9) are formed in and extend radially inwardly from the inside diameter of the receiving bores (3). The stop (8) leading in the driving direction out of the receiving bores (3) can be overcome for driving the nail out of the bore.

The sliding ring (2) holds the guard (1) at a certain distance from the joint (8). The conical guard at its radially inward end comprises a flexible convoluted tube (6) covering the joint (8). The sliding ring (2) can contact a contact edge (10) of the tube (6) to compress it asymmetrically.
