Abstract: A telescopic steering column for motor vehicles with a steering shaft 1, whose axial, plastic-coated teeth 1.1, which are arranged at least in some areas, engage complementary teeth 2.1 of the steering column jacket 2, which accommodates and guides the steering shaft and which is accommodated in a housing of the steering column, wherein a securing element 3 engages a recess 2.2 of the steering column jacket 2 with at least one hook-shaped claw 3.1 on one side and is supported at or in the end section of the steering column jacket 2 via a radially directed shoulder 3.2 on the other side and thus forms an axial displacement limitation of the steering shaft 1 in at least one direction.
Abstract: The invention relates to Jacquard selection in a textile machine characterized by a selection jack (1) provided with a spring (M1) by which, after the preselection phase in which the jacks are guided by a cam inside the cylinder, they move out under the pressure of the spring, thus modifying the path or the functions; or remain contained and/or retained in the cylinder by a selector and/or other member disposed frontally which prevents their moving out. According to circumstances, the selector, even if fixed, can move vertically, horizontally and also radially, with minimum time and space, without lateral impact on the incoming butts and/or jacks. Finally, the actuators, together with the cams of the jacks and/or needles, are incorporated in a modular support to modify the type of selection and/or for textile operations other than the Jacquard type.
Abstract: A modular manipulation unit is disclosed. The unit includes a body (11) formed of three extruded, profiled elements. The elements include a base plate (15), a top element or cover (16) fixed on the base plate, and an intermediate slide (17) arranged and guided between the base plate and the top element. An interface part (13) is fixed and movable with the intermediate slide, and an actuator is connected to the said intermediate slide for movements of same and of the gripping tool carried by the said interface part.

Abstract: The cord-type grass-cutting head includes a container (3, 4) having arranged inside it at least one reel (5) of cutting cord (F), the ends of which emerge from holes in the container, and an operating mechanism for controlled unwinding of the cord from the reel, which mechanism comprise a sliding actuating member (17, 19) projecting from the container, a slit being defined between the sliding member and the container. A flexible protective membrane (33) covers the slit between the sliding member (17, 19) and the container (3, 4).
Abstract: A switch of a computer network with a plurality of dual speed Ethernet client ports and at least one high speed Ethernet uplink port. The combined data rate of the Ethernet dual speed client ports has a maximum value which is higher than the data rate of the Ethernet uplink port. The Bandwidth Control limits the number of enabled Ethernet client ports so that the combined data rate of the enabled client ports substantially equals, or slights exceeds the data rate of the uplink port. In this way the speed and amount of switch memory can be minimized in the switch itself and the memory burden is divided among the clients. The dividing of the memory burden greatly reduces the worst case scenario and allows each client to individually chose the speed and amount of memory based on its own cost/benefit situation.

Abstract: A device for the control of the delivery of the gas in self-propulsion gas systems, in methane gas systems in particular. The system includes a gas cylinder under high pressure, a pipeline which conveys the gas from the cylinder to the engine and devices for controlling the flow and pressure of the gas in the pipeline. A device includes a manual valve or cock (18) per cylinder, at least one pressure reducing valve (19) and one solenoid valve (20), which are integrated into one unit (16), which has a body with channels for the gas between an inlet (I) of the gas under high pressure and an outlet (U) for the gas under the desired reduced pressure. The unit is attached, as a single entity, at the inlet, to the cylinder, and, at the outlet, to the gas pipeline directed towards the engine to be fed.

Abstract: A side channel blower (1), in particular for supplying combustion air to the auxiliary heater (2) of a motor vehicle, has a body (3) axially connected to an impeller wheel (4). The blower body (3) has an inlet channel (5), an outlet channel (6), a curved side channel (8) at the axial connection side (7) with the impeller wheel for connecting the inlet channel to the outlet channel, and a separating piece (9) which form together the 360.degree. of the circumference of the axial connection side (7). The separating piece (9) is produced as a separate part, in particular as a casting. This is advantageous for the manufacture and for optimizing the noise level and aerodynamics of the blower.
Abstract: An EL lightening device which can individually switch the luminescence brightness of a plurality of ELs by a single inverter. In this device, a plurality of ELs (3) are connected to the output side of an inverter (1) through AC switches (2) A stabilized DC power supply (4) is connected to the input side of the inverter (1). A control circuit (5) is provided for controlling the lightening of the ELs (3) and is connected to the stabilized DC power supply (4) and the AC switches (2). The control circuit (5) outputs EL lightening signals to control ON/OFF operations of the transfers (2) and also applies an AC voltage to each EL (3) by time division so that said ELs are lightened. At the same time an inverter input voltage control signal is output in accordance with the timing at which the EL is lightened, so that the inverter input voltage of the stabilized DC power supply (4) can be varied.
Abstract: A sewing machine with a balance wheel (1), which is detachably fastened on the arm shaft (15). The balance wheel (1) is secured against rotation by the cooperation of a carrier pin (17) transversely protruding from the arm shaft (15) with two axially extending recesses (7) in the balance wheel hub (1), which said recesses are open at one end. The wheel is secured axially by the cooperation of an elastic finger (9), which is fastened to the balance wheel (1) and has a mounting hole (12), with the carrier pin (17).
Abstract: A method and device are provided for direct reduction of ore fines in a wide range of particle size, the reducing agent being hydrogen placed in a fluidized bed gutter with a plurality of sequentially arranged chambers. The fluidization rate in the supply base is set so that a defined class of particle size remains in the chamber concerned where it will be submitted to a reduction process and that the finest particle size fraction is discharged from the chamber, then precipitated in a hot gas cyclone to solid material (or fines) and gas. The ore fines precipitated in the cyclone then reaches the following chamber. The gas from all the hot gas cyclones is fed by a collector to the pre-heater. After reduction in the chambers, the ore fines are conveyed in pressure vessels for submission to further processes.
Abstract: A scent cartridge (1) with a substrate (3), wherein the latter consists of porous particles of silica gel, activated carbon and/or aluminum oxide, which are impregnated with scents or active ingredients. The substrate (3) is fixed in a small cylindrical glass or aluminum tube (2) by means of wiremesh caps (4) made of metal or plastic. A membrane disk (6) is sealingly held on each flanged edge (5) of the small glass or aluminum tube (2) by means of a cap (7) each so that the membrane disks (6) can be punctured with needles or cannulae for releasing scents or active ingredients and an air or carrier gas flow controlled in a time-dependent manner is then admitted to the scent cartridge (1).

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a programming device (1) for multiaxial industrial robots. The housing (2) has a display (3) and a plurality of switches and/or function keys (4). It has three or more ergonomically designed grip areas (6, 7, 8, 9), wherein grip strips (6, 7, 8) are made in one piece with two or more housing edges (25, 26), and the function keys (4) are located on these grip strips within the reach of the fingers. A joystick (14) is arranged horizontally at the lateral housing edge (26), and a grip strip (8) and a thumb ball pad (15) are located in its vicinity. The housing (2) also has one or more interfaces (16, 17) for connection to external communications means, especially external input or output devices and/or external computing units.
