The upper divided part 11 of the first chamber is connected to a gas analyzer 4 via the holder 2 and is connected to a vacuum. The housing 1 contains a second chamber divided by a second hydrophobic membrane 20. The lower divided part 22 of the second chamber is connected to the gas space in the tank 3 at a point 18 which is located lower in the direction of the liquid level and relative to the entry of the connection line from the first chamber. The upper divided part 21 of the second chamber is connected to a volume flow meter 8 and to the same vacuum.

Abstract: A metallic ball pin of a universal joint, preferably one with high load-bearing capacity, for motor vehicles, which is mounted movably in all directions in a bearing shell of a housing with a joint ball 2 designed at one end of a pin stump 1. To improve its functional properties and to reduce its manufacturing costs, a machined joint ball 2 with a through-hole 5 is nonrotatably attached to a fastening pin 4 of a pin stump 1 manufactured by cold forming in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the pin stump 1, and it is held by deforming the fastening pin 4.
Abstract: A lamp socket arrangement for bulb with a lamp base having a first end defining a bulb opening for receiving the bulb. The lamp base has a second end substantially opposite from the first end. The second end includes a plurality of prongs which extend away from the second end. The lamp base is combined with a lamp holder having first and second ends, and defining a passage way between the first and second ends for receiving all of the lamp base, the plurality of prongs and the plurality of conducting wires for the bulb. The passage way, the plurality of prongs, and the plurality of conducting wires have a shape to substantially fill the second end of the passage way when the plurality of prongs and the conducting wires are positioned in the second end of the passage way. The shape of the passage way, prongs and conductors are such that the combination of all three form a sealed connection and a sealed end of the lamp socket arrangement.
Abstract: The capsule (11), which can be screwed onto the threaded neck (3) of the bottle, coaxially forms the cylinder (15) of the syringe device; an element (21) inside the capsule (11) and surrounding the cylinder (15) forms an annular leaktight seal (21A) which can be tightened onto the edge (3B) of the neck (3) and fits inside the bottle neck by means of a shaped extension piece (21B); said element (21) accommodates, via a central hole, the cylinder (15) of the syringe device and surrounds it with an annular lip (21C) which extends toward the center of the bottle so as to wipe the outer surface of the cylinder as the capsule is fitted with a safety cap (29) and a seal (33).

Abstract: The present innovation pertains to a ball-and-socket joint for wheel suspensions in motor vehicles including a joint ball provided at the end of a ball pin, bearing shell made of plastic for mounting the joint ball, housing which accommodates the bearing shell and which is closed by an inner cover on one side, and from which the ball pin exits on the side opposite the cover, an outer bushing for mounting the joint in a motor vehicle via an elastomeric layer arranged adhesively between the housing and the outer bushing and a movable flange which is rigidly arranged on the outside of the housing and is provided on its radial outer surface with elastomeric coating. The outer bushing of the ball joint is provided with a circular radial flange on a side of the outer cover. The circular radial flange is fixed together with the outer cover by deformation of the material of the edge of the mounting bushing of the motor vehicle part.
Abstract: An audio medium and candle arrangement includes a candle having an outer contour and a first end and a second end. An audio medium is provided having an outer contour which generally corresponds to the outer contour of the candle. The audio medium is positioned adjacent to the candle. The candle enclosure maintains a position of the audio medium relative to the candle. The enclosure may be a tin enclosure with a bottom tin (canister) portion having a candle provided therein and a tin lid for closure of the tin. The tin lid is provided with an inner diameter which is slightly larger than the outer diameter of a compact disc. The inner diameter of the tin lid is provided in a normal way for mating with the tin bottom to close the tin. A compact disc is provided on a compact disc backer or audio medium support, such as a support made of cardboard. Preferably the cardboard backer has a CD center support element for positioning and supporting the CD relative to the backer.
Abstract: An RJ style plug is provided including a plug body and a contact supported by the body. The contact includes a plug portion with a plug contact surface and an insulation displacement contact portion with a wire receiving contact slot. The device may also include an attaching body. The plug body may include connection surfaces for connecting the attaching body to the plug body. The attaching body has a wire positioning surface for positioning a wire in the contact slot and attaching the attaching body to the plug body via the connection surfaces. The wire positioning surfaces may include surfaces defining a bore for receiving a wire end and an opening extending from a plug side surface of the attaching body to the bore, the opening being sized to receive an end of the insulation displacement contact portion when the attaching body is connected to the plug body.
Abstract: A device for fastening an injection element 4 with its foot 5 in a hole of a base plate 1 of an injection head 2 of a rocket engine, the foot 5 is tapered in steps up to its end. A first shoulder 7 of the foot abuts against the base plate 1; a thread (6) screwed into the base plate 1 is present after the first shoulder 7; the thread 6 is followed by a second shoulder 8 and then by a first, smooth cylindrical piece 9. This is followed by a third shoulder 11, on which a solder ring 12 made of a gold alloy is seated. A second, smooth cylindrical piece 13, which has a solder gap 13a between it and the corresponding hole in the base plate 1, follows after the third shoulder 11 up to the end. A process for fastening the injection element 4 provides for the solder ring 12 being first placed on the third shoulder 11, after which the injection element 4 is screwed into the base plate by means of a hexagon 22, and the injection head 2 is subsequently heated to about 1,035.degree. C.

Abstract: A method is provided for forming a curve or curves in a thin solid surface material such as an acrylic sheet material. The method includes taking a sheet of solid surface material of a thickness within the range of 1.4 mm to 5.9 mm and placing the sheet in or on an apparatus which includes a heating station a platen or platens and a vacuuming station including a sandwich mold. The heating platens are set at a predetermined temperature within the range 80.degree. C. to 200.degree. C. and the solid surface material to be formed is brought into contact with or at least near the heating platens so that heat emanating from said platen/s is distributed substantially uniformly across at least one surface of the solid surface material. The heating of the solid surface material is for a predetermined time within the range of 5 seconds-10.0 minutes according to the temperature selected from the temperature range.
Abstract: The invention relates to a yarn guide unit particularly for circular double cylinder hosiery machines in which a yarn guide rod is borne on a block (16) eccentrically pivoted on a rotating disk (18) which can move between two extreme angular positions corresponding to the engaged working and disengaged positions of the yarn guides. Rotation of the disk with the block is brought about in one direction by a pneumatic actuator (28) incorporated in the block (16) and in the opposite direction by a return spring attached to the disk.
Abstract: A measuring field block for detecting quality data in the multicolor printing of single editions, which measuring fields (A1-D3) printed on a printed product in an optically scannable manner with at least one color-measuring surface (F) for determining a color density, a surface coverage or a tristimulus value for each of the measuring fields (A1-D3), is characterized in that the measuring field block has lines (L) for primary colors used in the print for the simultaneous determination of values for a register deviation.

Abstract: A motor vehicle door or hatch with an outer sheet and an inner sheet which are mutually supported and secured together at the edge region. An edge strip of the inner sheet is bent down towards the inside of the door to form a bead and secured to an edge strip of the outer sheet also bent downwards towards the inside of the door. A laser weld seam fills the gap between the two edge strips.
