Abstract: A coil form with a coil support and with a winding applied thereto, whose turns are provided with a coil bond material. The bond material contains a volatile solvent and mutually fixes the turns when dried (in a dry state). To guarantee an essentially uniform, nearly solvent residue-free drying of the coil bond in the entire winding even in the case of a very large number of coil layers, the coil support is a porous coil support having open pores. The coil support has a diffusion coefficient with respect to the solvent that is equal to or slightly lower than that of the winding.
Abstract: A device for transporting molten metal in the pouring bay of a blast furnace and a process for operating this device. At least one main runner with skimmer, which main runner is installed after the tapping door of the blast furnace, is provided as well as runoff gutters arranged downstream with a transfer station into the molten metal transfer cars. A pipe section with connecting branches, which is followed by a second pipe section with a slide, is flanged to the runout in a gas-tight manner. This second pipe section is also connected in a gas-tight manner to the intake opening of the main runner. A T-shaped pipe section, which allows the pig iron to flow into one of the pig iron transfer cars, is arranged at the end of the pipe sections. To keep clear the open cross section of the wear lining of the pipe section, inert gas is blown in, which also keeps the ceramic plate of the sliding shutter clear.

Abstract: A printing block is inked with a container containing printing ink, and printing formats or partial images are transferred to workpieces with a tampon. An edge of the container, which edge lies on the printing block, is rotated on the printing block around a vertical axis during a relative movement between the container and the printing block. As a result, the printing block can be used longer, and a clean print is guaranteed for a longer time in the case of abrasive printing inks.
Abstract: Improved stocking-holder shape comprising two contouring flat elements that can be stretched apart under control, wherein each of said flat elements is provided, in correspondence of the respective outer side, with a flexible and elastic body which has one end fixed, at the level of the front portion of the flat element, while the other end is free, so as to allow for the elastic yielding thereof and the movement of said free end close to the side of the flat part, during the stretching apart of the flat elements, owing to the action exerted by the fabric of the stocking. (FIG. 1).
Abstract: An electronic control device for the contactless control of a unit, e.g., a plumbing unit, especially a urinal, with at least one transmitter for sending directed light signals, and with a receiving device. The receiving device receives signals reflected from a scanned object and sends them to a circuit acting on the unit. The transmitter and the receiving device form an optical triangulation arrangement, wherein reflections are received from the background and from a predetermined detection zone to mask the said background.
Abstract: The flushing means has a flushing tank, which is connected to a flushing channel of a toilet bowl via a flushing elbow and to a nozzle (jet) via a connection pipe. During flushing, part of the flushing water is released from the top into the toilet bowl via the flushing elbow and the flushing channel, and another part is released into the lower area of the toilet via the connection pipe and the nozzle. The flushing water entering the nozzle is taken up by an opening of the connection pipe, which extends into the flushing elbow and is always open. To prevent the connection pipe from being suctioned empty and consequently to prevent the suctioning of a suction siphon from being interrupted, the connection pipe has a hydraulic seal, which hydraulically seals this pipe against a vacuum at the outlet opening of the connection pipe during a suction process. Valves and the like, which are susceptible to the deposition of lime, are not employed.
Abstract: The part (1) to be machined, which exhibits an axis of revolution (aa') is secured in a rotatable spindle (11) forming part of a headstock (10) movable in translation on the framework of the grinding machine according to a longitudinal axis (X) parallel to the axis of revolution (aa'). A support (16) fixed to the framework and in the immediate proximity of which is arranged a grindstone (18), serves as lateral support to a portion of the part (1) to be machined. Grinding of the part (1) by the grindstone (18) over an arbitrary length capable of exceeding 1000 times its diameter, is effected by displacing the headstock (10) by such length in the sense of the longitudinal axis (X).
Abstract: An obliquely disposed insulation displacement contact for the communication and data transfer. Wires having a lower rigidity than a copper wire of 0.4 mm diameter can also be contacted, and the insulation displacement contact to be provided is intended to fit into the previously used receiving portions of housings, without reducing the rigidity of the insulation displacement contact. This is achieved by opposingly providing angles, bending or parallely displacing contact parts towards outside the contact zones of the contact legs in the area of the contact slot or by cut-free portions of the contact zones.
Abstract: The present invention pertains to the problem of decollating the lowest card 3 of a stack 2 of cards guided in a shaft 1 without giving rise to a considerable friction between the card surfaces. This problem, which arises especially in the case of plastic cards designed as printed data storage media, is solved by the present invention by the lowermost card 3 being located with its front 4 and rear 5 edges between two push-off members 6, 7, which are mounted rotatably around two mutually parallel axes 12, 13. The lowermost card 3 is first pushed off to the rear 8 by a small amount, and it is at the same time spaced from the card located above it, after which the front edge 4 of the card is released and is freely movable in the downward direction. The lowermost card 3 is then pushed off in the opposite direction 9, and it reaches a conveyer in an oblique free fall.
