Abstract: An ink pump control system for an ink pump installed on printing presses, driven by a stepping motor, with the ink feed thereof being controlled in accordance with the revolution of the stepping motor, including a first pulse output device for outputting a pulse signal proportional to the operating speed of the rotary press, a memory device for storing ON/OFF bit strings in accordance with a printing element ratio of a plate surface area to which ink is to be fed obtained in advance by a printing element ratio measuring device, a second pulse output device for sequentially reading each bit in the ON/OFF bit string stored in the memory device every time a pulse signal outputted by the first pulse output device is inputted, and outputting a pulse signal in accordance with the read bits, and a motor driver for operating the stepping motor in accordance with the pulse signal outputted by the second pulse output device, so that ink feed is controlled optimally.
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a process for determining an analyte, especially a low-molecular-weight pollutant in a sample. It is carried out by partially dipping into the sample a test strip, on which antibodies which are specific for the analyte and to which in turn a tracer is bound, are immobilized. During the capillary migration of the sample through the test strip, the analyte partially displaces the tracer. The tracer that has remained on the antibody is subsequently visualized by, e.g., dyeing. The intensity of the dyeing is an indicator of the amount of analyte detected.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an air spark gap for determining the maximum voltage at an aged voltage surge suppressor (5) comprising an electrode arrangement in a capsule filled with an inert gas. The voltage surge suppressor is disposed in a voltage surge protection plug. The air spark gap is disposed between two contact members (2, 3 or 4, resp.) parallel to the voltage surge suppressor. The one (2) of the contact members is electrically connected with a contact element (7) resting, in the plugged-on condition of the voltage surge protection plug, resiliently on a surface portion against the other one (3, 4) of the contact members. For an electrical disconnection, an electrical insulation foil (8, 9) having a given thickness is arranged between the contact element and the other one of the contact members, said electrical insulation foil being provided with an opening for forming an air gap therebetween.
Abstract: An over-voltage protection plug for telecommunication installations, including a housing with a printed-circuit board, a voltagesurge suppressor, a slider, a spring, an earth plate, a signalling element. Reliable protection against voltage surges is provided, wherein the solder position is loaded to a minimum extent only. The plug is composed of few parts only and further permits automated manufacture at low cost, and which clearly shows the tripped condition at the outside. The slider is pre-loaded over a support face and over an edge at the inner housing wall in the housing by the spring. A shaped part of solder material is loaded to a minimum extent only by the spring force (pressure force) of the slider.
