Abstract: A holder for use with a support member and an oral suction device having a distal end for suctioning a patient's oral cavity. The holder includes a sleeve having an interior and an entrance opening communicating with the interior; and a mount for mounting the sleeve to the support member so that the distal end of the oral suction device can be inserted into the sleeve after the sleeve is mounted to the support member.
Abstract: A single-use aerosol can having an outlet and no inlet and containing a lubricant under pressure that is used to prime an engine prior to start-up. The contents of the canister are pressurized with a substantially non-flammable propellant and are released from the single outlet atop the aerosol can through a valve that is interposed between the outlet and the interior of the canister. The valve may be manually depressed to cause the lubricant to be released. The lubricant is transported directly from the outlet of the canister to the interior of the engine through a hose having a first passageway, a first end, and a second end. The hose is sealingly connected to the canister on the first end and the oil passageway of the engine on the second end. A threaded fitting having a second passageway may be used to attach the second end of the hose to the oil passageway, thereby creating communication between the first and second passageways.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for using cotton gin trash or the like to build a compost pile. The apparatus includes a support surface for supporting a compost pile with at least a portion of the support surface being porous; a conveyor for conveying compostable material along a path above the support surface and for dispensing the compostable material onto the support surface; and a mechanism for adding a fluid to the compostable material as the compostable material is received in the inlet of the conveyor.
Abstract: A knee prosthesis including a tibial component for mounting to the proximal end of a tibia, and a femoral component for mounting to the distal end of a femur. At least the face surface of the medial condylar portion of the femoral component may be preferably substantially congruent with the face surface of a medial cavity in the upper surface of the tibial component so that substantially complete surface-to-surface contact between the face surface of the medial cavity in the upper surface of the tibial component and the face surface of the medial condylar portion of the femoral component is provided throughout a significant portion of the range of flexion of the knee joint.

Abstract: A long bone prosthesis (10) includes a neck portion (12), a stem portion (16) and an intermediate portion (20) disposed between the neck portion (12) and stem portion (16). The intermediate portion (20) includes seals for containing cement thereabout under pressure adjacent thereto and preventing leaking of cement therefrom during implantation of the prosthesis (10).

Abstract: An apparatus for use with a length of articulating paper. The apparatus includes a container having an interior configured to contain the length of articulating paper; a housing member attached to the container; the housing member having an outlet; conveyor structure for conveying the distal end of the length of articulating paper from the interior of the container to the outlet of the housing member; cutter structure for cutting off a piece of articulating paper from the distal end of the length of articulating paper when the conveyor structure conveys the distal end of the articulating paper to the outlet of the housing member; and holder structure for securely holding the piece of articulating paper after the conveyor structure conveys the distal end of the articulating paper to the outlet of the housing member and after the cutter structure cuts off the piece of the articulating paper from distal end of the length of articulating paper.
