  • Patent number: 11880302
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for optimizing record placement in defragmenting a graph database. Issues with fragmented data within a graph database are addressed on the record level by placing data that is frequently accessed together contiguously within memory. For example, a dynamic rule set may be developed based on dynamically analyzing access patterns of the graph database, policies, system characteristics and/or other heuristics. Based on statistics regarding normal query patterns, the systems and methods may identify an optimal position for certain types of edges that are often traversed with respect to particular types of nodes.

  • Patent number: 11880270
Abstract: Dump file content and other event data is pruned and prioritized to assist analysis of hangs, crashes, and other circumstances. An event data pruner condenses or excludes certain event data. A cluster creator creates clusters from pruned and vectorized event data, using a clustering algorithm and a similarity metric, without any prior specification of the desired number of clusters. A cluster ranker ranks clusters according to event data volume and thread importance, thus prioritizing the event data for inspection. A results presenter configures a user interface to present ranked clusters, their associated data, data reduction statistics, regression analysis results, and other data reduction processing results. Thus, the innovative functionality assists analysis and prioritized inspection of event data by an analyst, surfacing organized event data that is relevant to the circumstance under investigation, or supporting comparison of clusters from before and after a change in the circumstance, or doing both.

  • Patent number: 11878829
Abstract: A packaging machine is provided for producing single and multiple compartment film wrapped pouches. Multiple linear motors allow aspects of the forming, filling, cutting and discharging to run at different speeds. The pouches are formed, filled and discharged from platens that are secured to movers that proceed through the packaging process by following magnetic fields created by independently controlled linear motors. Overall, cycle time is decreased as a result of speeding up parts of the process, including the platen return process, possible because there is no mechanical connection and not a single conveyor moving the platens while the other parts of the process may be simultaneously slowed down or even temporarily stopped. Changeover of platens, to accommodate different products, such as single compartment pouch to multiple compartment pouches, is also simplified because platens are simply connected to the movers and are thus easily removed and replaced.

  • Patent number: 11880656
Abstract: A method for execution by a computing device includes obtaining a phrase that includes string of words and generating a valid sequence of words utilizing the phrase. The method further includes identifying a set of identigens for each word of the valid sequence of words to produce sets of identigens. The method further includes identifying, for each identigen of the sets of identigens, a word type associated with phrase structure grammar rules to produce sets of identigen-type associations. The method further includes interpreting, utilizing the phrase structure grammar rules, the sets of identigen-type associations to produce an entigen group. The entigen group represents a most likely interpretation of the phrase.

  • Patent number: 11881022
Abstract: Systems and methods for a weakly supervised action localization model are provided. Example models according to example aspects of the present disclosure can localize and/or classify actions in untrimmed videos using machine-learned models, such as convolutional neural networks. The example models can predict temporal intervals of human actions given video-level class labels with no requirement of temporal localization information of actions. The example models can recognize actions and identify a sparse set of keyframes associated with actions through adaptive temporal pooling of video frames, wherein the loss function of the model is composed of a classification error and a sparsity of frame selection. Following action recognition with sparse keyframe attention, temporal proposals for action can be extracted using temporal class activation mappings, and final time intervals can be estimated corresponding to target actions.

  • Patent number: 11880725
Abstract: In embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a solution for establishing queues between threads in a user space. After creating a first thread on a first application and creating a second thread and a third thread on a second application, a socket connection between the first application and the second application is established in the user space of the operating system. Then, a first queue is established between the first thread and the second thread, while a second different queue is established between the first thread and the third thread. Embodiments of the present disclosure can avoid lock-based queue sharing by setting a separate queue for each pair of threads. Thus, the luckless queue mechanism according to embodiments of the present disclosure can improve the performance of the operating system significantly.

  • Patent number: 11879036
Abstract: The present invention relates to poly(ether ketone ketone) (PEKK) polymers, a method for the manufacture thereof, to articles and composites made therefrom, to methods of making the composites, and composite articles including the PEKK composites. It was surprisingly discovered that by synthesizing the PEKK polymers from low-metal monomers and selectively controlling the relative amounts of reactants during the synthesis, PEKK polymers having unexpectedly improved melt stability can be obtained. The PEKK composites including the PEKK polymers are especially well-suited for fabrication of thick composite parts where melt stability of the polymer matrix is important.

  • Patent number: 11880488
Abstract: In some implementations, a masking device may receive rules and a document object model (DOM) structure. Each rule may indicate a corresponding element, a corresponding pattern, and a type of remediation. The DOM structure may include elements, where each element is associated with text. The masking device may traverse the DOM structure to identify elements that map to corresponding elements indicated by the rules. The masking device may determine whether text, associated with the identified elements, is sensitive information by determining whether the text maps to corresponding patterns indicated by the rules. The masking device may perform validation on the sensitive information. The masking device may modify the DOM structure based on the sensitive information, the validation, and a type of remediation indicated by the rules. Accordingly, the masking device may output the modified DOM structure.
