    Abstract: An information serving system includes a mobile apparatus and a terminal apparatus. The mobile apparatus includes a memory which stores ticket information including departure time data, and a display. The terminal apparatus is installed in a building, and includes a communication device, a database, and a controller. The controller controls the communication device to read the ticket information stored in the memory of the mobile apparatus, calculates a time interval between a current time and a departure time represented by the departure time data, retrieves usable facility information from the database in accordance with a length of the time interval, and causes the communication device to transmit to the mobile apparatus the retrieved usable facility information together with map information. The mobile apparatus then controls its display to display the transmitted usable facility information on a map based on the transmitted map information.

    Abstract: A sealing film is formed on a semiconductor substrate on which a number of columnar electrodes are formed, and then the upper surface of the sealing film is polished to expose the upper surfaces of the columnar electrodes made of a soft metal. During the polishing, laterally broadened edges are generated on the upper sides of the columnar electrodes. Then, the upper surfaces of the columnar electrodes, including the laterally broadened edges, are etched so as to remove the edges. In this manner, the shape of the upper surfaces of the columnar electrodes can be formed as initially designed, and therefore the bonding strengths can be made uniform. Thus, the reliability of the device can be improved.

    Abstract: In a separator, a seesaw cover is pressed downward at its rear end to turn the seesaw cover counterclockwise to form an open mouth. A label comprising a printing tape and a cover tape attached through an adhesive layer o the printing tape is inserted at one end into the open mouth. The seesaw cover is released from the push force applied from above to its end opposite to the mouth, the cover is returned to its original position by the resiliency of a spring, and the label is then clamped at one end by elastic members within the mouth. When a push button is pressed downward, a pair of sliding contact surfaces thereof slide on a corresponding pair of sliding contact surfaces of a moving member to thereby move the moving member toward the mouth. This causes a curved member provided at a mouth-side end of the moving member and hence its curved member surface to curve a corner of the label.
