Abstract: The invention relates to a bicycle tyre. A puncture-resistant fibre layer (4) having a plurality of polymer, parallel running tyre reinforcing elements (12) is arranged between the tyre tread (2) and the tyre carcass. Said reinforcing elements (12) are arranged at an angle of between approximately 80 and 110 degrees with respect to the peripheral direction (13) of the bicycle tyre.
Abstract: A rubber mixture for vehicle tires which exhibits improved rolling resistance behavior and improved wear properties. The rubber mixture includes: 5 to 100 phr of at least one polymer A of the formula I): 1) F-(P-Y-P-Sx)z-P-Y-P-F, wherein S is sulfur, P is an elastomer polymer chain obtained by the anionic polymerization of a conjugated diene and, optionally, a vinyl aromatic compound in the presence of a diinitiator, Y is a dicarbanion group derived from the diinitiator, x is an integer greater than or equal to 1 independently for each Sx group, on the condition that x is selected from the numbers 2, 3, and 4 for at least one Sx group, z is an integer from 1 to 160, each F is a terminal group independently selected from —H, —SH, —SOH, —SCl, —SO2H and —SO3H, and at least one filler.

Abstract: A process for regenerating sulfur-crosslinked rubber vulcanizates to regenerates, wherein at least one regenerating agent is used in the regeneration. The regenerating agent is selected from the group consisting of dithiophosphoryl polysulfides and/or silanes having a polysulfane group. Regenerates which have been produced by means of the process lead to improved or equal rolling resistance indicators and a lower compression set in vulcanized rubber mixtures compared to regenerates known in the prior art.

Abstract: Self-sealing tire sealants are provided which contain fragments and/or residues of expanded solids, where the solids are selected from the group containing expandable graphite and microspheres. In some aspects, the microspheres include at least isobutane and/or isopentane as blowing agents. The microspheres may also have a shell containing at least one polymer, and in some cases the polymer is at least one copolymer of acrylonitrile and methyl acrylate. The self-sealing tire sealant may further include graphene structures. In some aspects the interior of a pneumatic vehicle tire has the self-sealing tire sealant disposed on the inner surface, opposite the tire tread, and the layer thickness of the tire sealant may be from 0.5 to 8 mm.

Abstract: A tread profile has a tread profile section which is in the center of the tire in the axial direction, and in each case one shoulder profile section.
