Abstract: The present invention relates an opaque conditioner which comprises a monoalkyl quat from C16 to higher Carbon chain lengths (preferably C16 to C22) and a dialkyl quat from C16 to higher Carbon chain lengths (preferably C16 to C18). Also included is an amount of fatty alcohol necessary to opacify the conditioner. The monoalkyl quat is necessary in a ratio to the dialkyl quat of about not less than 2:1. The fatty alcohol is present in an amount from about 1% to about 4%.
Abstract: Hair styling gels containing a carboxylated polyurethane resin, a viscosity enhancer, and an optional second hair fixative resin, in an aqueous carrier, are disclosed. The styling gel compositions impart excellent hair styling, conditioning, and hair set retention properties to treated hair.
Abstract: There is described a conditioning composition for conditioning, lightening and highlighting hair which comprises:
(i) a peroxygen compound; and
(ii) a conditioning agent,
said composition having a pH of 5 or less. There is also described a method for conditioning lightening and highlighting hair which comprises treating said hair with a composition of the invention.
Abstract: Control system for a jack for raising and lowering a lift assembly for hydraulically driven snow blades or other utilitarian accessories. Actuation of the jack allows for proper vertical alignment of the lift assembly for engagement to a vehicle chassis. Once engaged, the jack can be actuated into an inoperative position until the lift assembly is to be removed from the chassis. The control system includes several safety features that prevent the jack from being deployed when the snow blade is raised, and that automatically retract the jack when the snow blade is raised.
Abstract: A rinse-off hair treatment composition for improved delivery of amino-acid to the hair and/or scalp comprising:
(a) a particulate metal-amino acid complex;
(b) at least one surfactant; and
(c) a deposition aid.

Abstract: An antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetic composition suitable for topical application to the human skin, comprising:
i. an antiperspirant or deodorant active;
ii. a moisturising cream; and optionally
iii. a carrier for the antiperspirant or deodorant active.
Abstract: A pressure relief system includes a relief valve for selectively discharging process media from a pressure vessel, a pilot valve for controlling the relief valve, and an isolation system for isolating the pilot valve from the process media. The pilot valve has an inlet port, a control port in communication with a dome chamber of the relief valve, and a discharge port. The isolation system includes an accumulator such as a piston-type or bladder-type accumulator, a source of pressurized control fluid, a pressure regulator, and a check valve. The accumulator has an interior chamber with an inlet in communication with an inlet of the relief valve and an outlet in communication with the inlet port of the pilot valve. An isolator such as a piston or bladder divides the interior chamber into a first portion and a second portion and prevents flow therebetween to isolate process media (located in the first portion) from control fluid (located in the second portion).
Abstract: An electromagnetic interference filter for reducing conducted noise for alternating current power lines, wherein a compact component geometry integrates matched material characteristics to create a coaxial inductor and square axisymmetric capacitor configuration capable of providing reduced size, increased frequency performance and improved voltage isolation over traditional magnet wire construction methods.

Abstract: Hitch mount for hydraulically driven snow blades or other accessories that includes a receiver plate for mounting to the vehicle chassis and a one piece plow assembly and lift frame readily removably coupled to the receiver plate, the plow assembly preferably including a blade trip frame and a snow blade removably coupled to the trip frame. A optional power operated jack can be used to raise or lower the lift frame relative to the vehicle chassis.
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for thermal conditioning of hair which comprises:
(a) applying to hair a rinse-off composition comprising:
(1) a nonvolatile silicone conditioning agent; and
(2) a carrier;
(b) rinsing the composition from the hair with water;
(c) applying heat via a heating appliance to the composition treated hair to dry or style the hair and wherein a reduction in the bending modulus caused by the silicone conditioning agent is at least 1.00%, and wherein the method of the invention results in the deposition on the hair of at least 30 ug silicone/ 1 g of hair.

Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, an engine oil change indicator system, including: a combination engine oil pressure sensor and engine oil temperature sensor connected to a port on the engine to which port is normally connected an oil pressure switch; and a microprocessor connected to receive inputs from the combination engine oil pressure sensor and engine oil temperature sensor and to cause a low engine oil pressure warning light to be illuminated when the microprocessor has calculated from the inputs that the engine oil should be changed.
Abstract: This invention provides a mobile aerosol generator which enables the vehicle operator to remotely reposition the droplet launch trajectory during normal operation of the generator and the vehicle. Azimuth and elevation launch directions are controlled separately or simultaneously by the vehicle operator using a remote control box. The repositioning ranges are about 180 degrees in azimuth included angle centered about a preset position, normally the direction of vehicle travel, and from about 60 degrees above to about 15 degrees below the plane of vehicle travel. A turntable like actuator provides azimuth repositioning and a linear actuator coupled to the nozzle provides elevation repositioning. Tubular nozzle support structure also acts as conduit for pressurized air to a two-fluid nozzle. A liquid delivery system provides a controlled amount of liquid to the nozzle where the fluid is sheared into droplets using pressurized air.
